but still pretty good. I got this as an "open box" ...
I'd say this is not quite as advertised, but still pretty good. I got this as an "open box" product from amazon, which meant it was a third the price of it new. That being true, I will likely keep it.On the plus side, it is SUPER cute. It is also incredibly quiet. It seems to do a good job increasing the humidity of the room, and we have a fairly big master with large vaulted ceilings. Eventually this will be for the baby, but until he comes, my partner and I are grateful while we battle nasty colds to be able to breathe at night. I haven't had any trouble filling it, nor with leaking water. On the negative side, it runs nowhere near as long as advertised. I had it on a medium high setting the first couple nights, and it had clearly run out of water by the next morning (12 hours later or so). The last few nights I've been steadily decreasing the output, until last night it was on low, and still didn't make it the 10 hours between turning it on and getting up the next morning. It's possible that's just mine malfunctioning (open box product and all that), and it's also possible it's the size of our room, which is right about at the 400 square ft limit. But I certainly can't say it's run anywhere near the "up to 18 hours" promised. There is also a slight chemical smell that goes with it, which isn't concerning to me, but is faintly noticeable. All in all, for $10 I would buy it again. I'm not sure I'd buy it for $35. I'll update the post once baby comes and the humidifier is in a much smaller room, and when I'll be up every 2 hours so I can get a sense of when the water is actually running out (is it after 4 hours or after 9?).

Cute but build quality less than expected
This humidifier is as appears in the picture and worked fine. It's ultrasonic so it's relatively quiet. The capacity was less than the Crane we used to have. To refill it, you have to remove this plate at the top of the head to expose the handle from which you can lift the head off (the water tank is the head). The plate is a bit hard to remove, making refills awkward.Overall, the materials felt less sturdy than the previous Crane humidifier we used to have. The other weird thing is that the fill valve is in the bottom of the head so you have to invert the head upside-down to fill it - which is normal for all humidifiers but harder to do with this humidifier since the tank/head isn't flat (the ears get in the way) so it's hard to set it down to refill it.One day after refilling it, I didn't align the head just right and the head fell off the body, rolled off the countertop and crashed into our floor and cracked. This is clearly my fault but I never got to use it for a longer time period. In the end, we replaced it with a different humidifier since the build quality and materials seemed less than expected.

Super Cute Humidifier!
My house has forced air heating and so winter is really dry, I was looking for a humidifier that I could leave out all the time without looking like a medical appliance. The tiger is really cute and holds enough water to run all night when I need it. It's fairly quiet, with a soft hum and the occasional water flowing sounds, for me that's just an added white noise bonus. It's fairly straight forward to operate, once I figured it out. The instructions are simple, but it took me a couple of extra minutes to figure out how to fill it. Not really a big deal since it's the kinda thing you only have to do once. I know I'm gonna be sad the day this stops working, but hopefully that's a while from now!

Looks exactly like the picture, works great too.
This is exactly the product I was looking for to keep hair from standing on end. As well as the electrocution by static shock to friends and loved ones and pets. This also helped with all the other pesky things that come with dry air. Great product and its adorable.Update: after a couple months of use this little dude started leaking all over the place. So I will have to drop the stars down.

Quiet and cute but annoying to fill
This is my first humidifier so I don't know how it stacks up to others in the price range. This humidifier is white noise in the background with the exception of occasional gurgles. The only real downside is that to fill it, you have to remove the head and use a small hole on the underside.Another slight annoyance is that this needs to be done every night as the water supply will only last a night and a half of sleep at best.

Very cute and functional
We bought this as a replacement humidifier for my 3 month old and really like it. It's cute and works really well. The only problem is that the tank doesn't hold a lot of water and has to be refilled every night. Other than that, great product!
