Your purchase will include 2 x fine mesh bags each containing approximately 275g of Alfagrog Bio Rocks. Bag size may vary from batch to batch but are high high quality with non rusting zip. Coverage of your media purchase: Amount Supplied is sufficient for a tank of 200- 300 litres freshwater / 100 Litres marine ( depending on stocking level and other factors - more is always better! - For optimal nitrate reduction double this amount or more is suggested). IN SALTWATER: Ideal For Nano Marine setups / breeding tanks & Quarantine as sole filtration, A pest free and sustainable alternative to live rock or can be used to supplement existing live rock. IN FRESHWATER: Excellent for larger freshwater systems and even small pond filters. Allow to mature or add starter bacteria before adding livestock Provides excellent surface for colonisation of beneficial bacteria that break down waste (Has an amazing average surface area of 25 x that of foam pads & upto 8 x that of ceramic rings!)
