It's early days, but so far this has exceeded my expectations.Makes the pouches that come with Godox speedlites look like disposable tissue paper.

This case is made well and is a must to hang the AD200 on a light stand it is so versatile . The one thing that does concern me is that the velcro that holds the unit inside gives me some concern. I would like to see a small quick release clip attached to the bottom of the case as well for extra security.

The AD200 and AD200R are highly flexible, battery-powered small monolights, excellent for use in small studio setups. A broad range of available light modifiers increases their usefulness. The AD200 family is meant for indoors use in a dry environment. It is not weatherproof and the high internal voltage can be deadly if the unit is exposed to rain or condensation.Using the AD200 outdoors or in a mobile setup is difficult because the only way of carrying the AD200 is in your hands, or attached to a fixture like a tripod by one of its two 1/4-20 sockets. There is no built-in strap, and the sockets are not optimally placed for attaching a strap (if you do so, the monolight body hangs horizontal, while the optimal orientation for carrying is vertical).This Fomito bag, also available with other brand names that seem to be random combinations of letters, is meant for storing the AD200 body, generally in a vertical orientation. This bag has two Velcro-secured doors at its top and bottom, and permanently open holes for the various controls of the monolight. The door that covers the rear panel of the AD200 is transparent soft plastic, and in theory allows the controls to be used without opening this door (in practice, this involves fumbling and trial-and-error, so you will end up opening the door to make any change in the settings). The door at the front of the AD200 can cover the speedlight head (and of course you need to open it to use the monolight) or, more appropriately, the connector of the extension cable that allows you to separate the AD200 head from its body (and in this case you can operate the monolight with the front door of the bag closed).The bag can be hung to a shoulder strap of a camera backpack with a double D-ring of metal and two Velcro flaps that fold around the shoulder strap.Summarizing:- The Fomito bag is not waterproof or rainproof. Don't use this bag (and the AD200) if there is a chance it will get wet, or you may electrocute yourself. I only recommend you use this bag indoors in a dry environment.- The bag works best together with the extension cord for the AD200 head. Without this extension, you can just as well store the AD200 in a camera backpack.- The bag is not padded and provides only minimal protection to the AD200.- The bag is tight and not meant for frequently inserting and extracting the AD200.- The bag cannot be used with the round AD200 head or the "naked tube" head. It only fits the rectangular speedlight head and the head extension cord.

I bought this Fomito pouch for my Evolv200 and it fits perfectly, it's a little less expensive than the original FP pouch and has very good design. You can access every bottom of the Evolv 200. You can carry it on your belt, outside of your backpack using the little hinge included and with the EC200 head extension cord on the lower base of a lightstand.It has a silver insulation material inside for the heat. Hope it works.So far I'm very happy with this pouch.
