No Home Should Be Without Some
I bought this specifically as a Wood Glue, but it has turned out to be far MORE than that !! Where other "specialised" Glues (e.g. 2-Part Epoxy) have failed, this stuff has amazed me by its versatility in the most unthinkable situations. I accidentally got some on one metal Clamp I was using on the Wood, and it glued the Clamp TO the Wood as well !! It has glued Metal, Ceramics, Plastics, Glass, Paper, Leather and Fabrics, not only on like-to-like, but anything-to-anything. I have an old strip of Wood that I've "decorated" (ha ha) with odd "bits and bobs" of absolutely anything I've found to test it, and this Glue has made those pieces completely irremovable !! I doubt that an ACTUAL Gorilla could pry them apart !The only things it DOESN'T do is stick to the inside of its Bottle OR (more importantly) the Anti-Clog Nozzle. Farewell to Super Glue !!This stuff is "the Gorilla my Dreams" !!

Bond - Strong Bond
Please don't let me try to tell you that I am any sort of DIY man. In fact my wife has a nickname for me (no, not that one!) of 'half-a-job' because she has seen some hasty DIY jobs either founder or will get finished - one day. I was keen however to try my hand at making some wooden plinths for my scale models and as the cherry wood only came in fairly narrow widths it seemed at least worth a go to glue two pieces side by side and to see what happened from there. I knew that I needed some pretty strong glue because, of course, once its glued it has to be machined with a router (another learning curve!) and then sanded and finished.Well, I must say even by my hesitant and humble efforts it came together beautifully. The glue is easy to apply, bonds quickly but before it does so it allows you some slippage to make sure that the two pieces of wood are fairly aligned so as to minimise sanding. It also has a nice gluey smell which almost makes me feel I know what I am doing! I am told that one mustn't clamp the work too tightly but I am still learning as I go. It's also important to wipe off the excess so as to cut down sanding time again.I have a feeling much is still to be learned but for now it's coming along - slowly. Happy woodworking.

Strong glue which is easy to apply
Gorilla glue is strong and runny. I’ve used to mend chair legs and they hold after many months.Glue is runny enough to drip into chair joints (I used a cocktail stick) and dries within 24 hours. I normally use a syringe to inject glue but it’s a little too thick to do this.I clamped joints for 24 hours rather than 30 minutes minimum to ensure maximum strength.Glue dries to a light brown, so not invisible but ok.Cap does not clog

Fixed my wobbly bed.
I recently moved into a new room in a house supplied by my work and for my first week or so I was plagued by a squeaky bed. I had a look and the joints in the entire frame were loose. A quick search later brought me to gorilla glue.It comes with a very useful dispense cap which reduces waste. I took the bed apart, glued all joints and secured with a mini ratchet strap for a few hours, as clamping time was mentioned on the bottle, When I removed the straps the bed was rock solid. I am very happy with the Gorilla Glue and will always have some on hand in future,

It actually didn't stick as I thought it would on first application
I was fitting a microphone to a lectern which involved drilling a hole through it - placing the microphone in from the top - and then placing a piece of plastic trim on the reverse surface of the wood to keep the microphone steady. To be on the safe side I scored the surface of the plastic quite generously so that there was a rough surface for the glue to adhere to as it was pushed against the wood - I then used a clamp to hold it in place for 24 hours - but when I pushed the microphone through and gave it a little pressure to seat in place, the insert just popped back out - and the glue had given way on the wood surface rather than the plastic surface - so a little bemused and disappointed. Tried again - added more glue - and was more gentle the second time - and appears to be holding so far - but not quite the amazing glue I'd expected.

Excellent wood glue and would recommend, 5 stars 🤩
5 out of 6 drawers in my unit has completely collapsed and some on both sides of the bottom of the drawers. I put this glue on them and waited a full 24 hours and went back to them. They are all stronger than when I first put them up on the unit! Glue that is usually supplied is in a very small packet but you can put this on a generous amount no problem. Bottle was bigger than I thought, could have done with buying a smaller one but that was my fault. Excellent wood glue and would recommend, 5 stars 🤩

Runny and Awful
I prefer to use screws but on this occasion couldn’t risk the damage. Bought Gorilla because I love their tape etc but this wood glue is awful. Even used sparingly it leaks out everywhere and did not grab in 20-30 mins as advertise. I had to hold my 2 pieces of wood together with masking tape until it dried.2 stars for drying clear and because when it does eventually dry its rock solid. Can’t deny that, but it is thinner than PVA and the non drip dispenser is nothing special - it stops glue drying up inside but not from making a mess outside when closed.

Awful, avoid and get PVA instead.
I used the glue on three project, all different and all dowelled, glued and clamped overnight. Within 6 months the glue bonds have broken for no apparent reason, wasting £50 of timber and a couple of weeks of construction. The glue has even failed in the dowel sockets which are all very tight fits. Yet interior PVA, used in similar projects inside and out, has stuck so well that when I had to break one joint, the wood split but not the glue bond. Then I found a video on Youtube comparing Gorilla with other similar glues. Gorilla failed in every test long before the other glues.
