This item works great!!! I have a 14 month old toddler who is very strong, and even he can't get past this!

I bought these to keep my cats out of the cabinets and they have been working great. They were easy to install.

I didn't want to drill and screw because I feared damaging the door.I had read reviews about people struggling to remove the red plastic cover sheet.My strategy was to heat the red cover with a hair dryer, I had an oven glove to protect my hand. Once the heat was enough to make the glue pad and red cover more malleable, I used tweezers to grab the edge of the red cover, and then unpeeled the red cover.I noticed that once the red cover was removed, if the glue pad was still warm, it seemed to adhere better to the door.The only frustration now is experienced by a 13 month, who is unable to open doors he could before

Did just as I hoped without drilling!

Product is not bad but the issue is that baby can still pinch fingers on the partially opened cupboard. Otherwise works

**** UPDATE**** Seller reached out and offered a full refund. They were very understanding, apologetic, and polite. Updating from 1 star to 4 stars.Did not work at all!! I installed exactly the way it said to, took the time to clean the areas, applied correctly and they did nothing! Complete waste of money. My 2 year old went right up to the cabinet and opened it and the hook just popped right off. So much for child proofing. Wasted my time and money. They also look bigger than what I was expecting. Good luck getting these to stick to anything!
