This is a well made and much better than strips I have bought in the past. It has a thick rubber coating that protects the LEDs and makes bending around corners easy. The strip also sticks where you put it because the adhesive tape is very good. Connecting to Google Home is super easy using an app. You have full control over color and brightness.Here’s why it doesn’t get 5 stars.Yes you can join two sections together and it’s easy. But there would be a gap of 6 inches with no LEDs. You need a 4 pin 10mm LED strip connector to have a continuous LED strip. It’s a 50 cent part that you have to buy separately.The packaging is confusing. It comes with two connectors to the power supply. I realized after five minutes is that just the one with the radio transmitter is needed and the other can be discarded.Finally, the supplier doesn’t give the width of the strip. That’s problematic if you are ordering LED aluminum channels. As noted above, it’s 10mm.

Last minute Xmas deco, and with free one day shipping it arrived just on time! Very bright and beautiful. We used it indoor. Our 3 years old loved to play with the color changing app. The app really works well as it automatically detects the strips and other WiFi LED bulbs. And you can even control them using Google Home. It was said to be waterproof, but we did not give it a try, and I would not recommend to go outdoor. The strip itself might be waterproof, but the WiFi controller and the adopter are not. And all the connections are pretty loose. That is OK for indoor use, but if you place it outdoor, it might not tear the wind or snow.

Tape didn’t stick to wall in majority of places. One or more section of lights do not work. Customer service was great! Replaced light set and they’re all working. Granddaughter loves them.

We got these lights to add bias lighting beneath our cabinets in our kitchen. We prepped the surface, held the strips in place, and left the lights off but the adhesion did not hold. I ended up buying "mounting tape" from 3M (basically double sided command strip sticky backing) to attempt to keep them up. With the additional adhesion, most of the strands are staying in place--still have areas that are trying to pop off. Can be challenging to navigate corners when mounting.Other than that, the colors are great. You can customize specific color settings, which we anticipate for various holidays--for example we have the lights swapping between purple and orange for a Halloween feel. We love the ambiance it has added to our kitchen. We were able to easily pair the lights with our Google home, so turning on/off or changing colors is a breeze.

I bought these for my neighbor's daughter for her 14th birthday she wanted lights that were colored and I found out about the ones that changed with music and told her about that and she was thrilled the problem is we can't get the music to work so then she was disappointed..😔 and I can't get anyone to help me figure that out either with the Internet or on here so we're still dealing with that 🙄besides that everything seems to work🎉 it's got a lot of great features that are fun to just play with ie will end up breaking on the remote is what I'm figuring 🤔but the lights dim and also brighten and they go speedy or slowly for the blinking which any adult is going to hate and want to run out of the room as quickly as they can 🤦at least that's how me and my neighbor were. it's definitely for kids or for parties and if you know how to make the music go with the lights please let me know🙋..there are not enough lights in one box for one small child's bedroom btw. You will need two.

I put these under the seats of my car. It was easy to install. Works great. Color jumping and flash functions are so cool. I like to test it with different musics to see how does it work.

The only gripe about this product I have is the promise that you can daisy chain more than one strip together. They give no information on how to do this and the connectors seem to only function in the opposite direction. I've done everything including soldering the strips together as they were manufacturing but the RBG control runs from the disconnected strip to the connected strip and turns off. So they promise a feature that doesn't work. Otherwise the remote is slightly finnicky but as long as you angle the receiver correctly its manageable and it allows for a lot of customization. I don't see the point of using the app given they want you to sign in so they can have at your data, so I stick with the remote.
