I purchased these knobs to replace broken ones on my Gibson Les Paul Double Cutaway Special. Unfortunately, the inner design of these knobs is different from the original Gibson knobs on this guitar. This difference prevents you from pushing the knob all the way down on the control shaft because there is no clearance for the potentiometer nut. As a result the knob sits very high off of the guitar face and fails to match the height of original knobs. Replacing all knobs with these is not a solution because the knobs sit too high above the guitar face and leave big gaps between knob and guitar - Looks stupid. I ruined two knobs trying to modify for fit then gave up and bought from another vendor who sells knobs that are identical to the original Gibson's on my guitar.Note: These knobs are the same design as the original Gibson knobs on my Les Paul Classic Premium Plus. So you need to look carefully at the knobs you're replacing before buying. Different styles used on different Gibson guitars.

Looks great on my bk Les Paul Studio...

I needed volume knob for a Gibson Les Paul Special Tribute DC. On your site these looked like they're what I needed but when I received them, the numbers on the knobs were yellow and numbers on the Tribute DC knobs are white. I went back on line and found the knobs made by Gibson with the white numbers. Although these knobs I received with the yellow numbers would have fit, I couldn't put them on my Tribute. I'll just keep them in case someone else needs them.
