Joules Women's Wellibob Rain Boot

Based on reviews about the sizing, these rain boots fit as expected. I wear a 7.5 and because the boots run large, I ordered size 7. The boots fit perfectly for me! Roomy enough for thick socks but not so big they slide off when walking. The quality is good: thick rubber outer, sturdy sole, heel strap to help pull them on. There is a thin white fleece insert at the bottom of the boot that comes out easily. It's soft enough that my foot felt comfy when i tried on the boots barefoot. (I had to wear them around the house immediately cuz they're so cute.) The boot opening is wide so you can fit your foot in easily. I'll use these boots for gardening and to walk fearlessly in the rain! : ) I love the bees and yellow contrasts against the black boot. I passed up cheaper versions of boots that break easily and chose to spend a little more for some that will last. These are well worth the price. The fact that these rain boots are adorable is just a bonus.

I live in a super rainy climate, and ruin shoes every year. I researched decent ankle boots, but was worried about size and them being actually waterproof. I also wanted something I could wear to work (as a teacher) if needed on a snowy day. These are cute but not too cutesy, and fit well with socks - they are actually Euro sizes, so a 10 is a 42, which is really more like a 10.5, which is perfect with socks, and means they are easy to slip on. The insoles are removable and washable. As it happens, they arrived just as it started to pour and we were headed out shopping - I wore these through 5-6 inches of standing water and through a downpour, and walked in them through big-box stores that normally hurt my feet and back. THey are overall comfortable, not worse on my back or feet than any other shoes, and my feet stayed amazingly dry throughout. Worth every penny.

These are adorable! Love the honeycomb liner inside. Has a soft fur like lining on the footbed. Fit is slightly large, but since I am going to use them for farm chores it allows room for a heavy sock. Not too large that foot slips out though. Feel like a good quality and yet still not heavy or difficult to walk in. Would definitely recommend.

I get tons of compliments on these fun rain boots. I typically wear a size 7 and ordered a size 6 based on other reviews and the 6 fit perfect. It is true what other says about the liner moving around. This is a bit of a bummer as to me they are warmer and cozier with the liner. I ended up taking some clear packing tape and sticking it to the bottom of the liner so that it sticks to the inside of the boot. This has worked great. I wouldn't let the liner issue stray you from purchasing though as the soles on these boots are great and are not slippery. The boots keep your feet warm and dry and are very comfortable.

Great rain boots. Comfy, cute, and easy to slip on and off. My only complaint is that the inner sole is cheap and would shift while walking or come out altogether when i would take them off. I ended up removing them and going without. However, if i wore them more often, i would probably look for another inner sole to replace it with (perhaps one from a tennis shoe or something a little more sturdy.) I don't find that removing the sole is uncomfortable, however i don't wear them for long periods of time so it maybe uncomfortable after a while. Otherwise, still a great boot and still gets 5 stars in my book.

I live in Portland, OR and we just had the rainiest month in 3 years. I was so glad to have these super cute boots to my advantage. They’re sealed tight, and clean easily. They’re also comfortable! I’ve never owned rain boots that are actually comfortable. My feet don’t sweat like crazy when I wear them and they go on and off pretty easily. I want 12 more pairs! They’re so worth the price. They do run a tad big, but I followed the advice of others and sized down. I normally wear a 7.5 in shoes and typically buy an 8 in boots, so I chose a 7 in these Joules and they are the perfect fit. They’re light, easy to walk in, and cute as can be!

Positives: Love the sightly elevated heel; the color is true to the picture; although I normally wear a wider shoes, this is not too wide nor too narrow - you'll have to decide for yourself. Boots are not my thing for walking all day, yet I really hate wet and cold ankles and feet; these are perfect! These feel sturdy and I don't see any weak areas on the rain boot.Negatives: None that I can see.After wearing them straight out of the box for 3 days, there were no blisters nor wear marks on my feet which is important to me.Note: you may want to try 1/2 to 1 size smaller. I wear 8.5; purchased the 8; it fits perfectly with my thick socks!

When I saw the shoes straight out of the box, I thought "these cant possibly fit me," but I tried to fit it anyway and surprisingly my feet went in without me struggling. It was quite snugged (at 1 SIZE DOWN ) and once I took a few steps, I felt my pinky-toe rubbing against the rubber. I then tried them with boat socks (anything thicker would cause me great discomfort), and that relieved the pinky toe problem.HOWEVER, once actually wore these outside on a rainy (taking more steps), I realized I SHOULD NOT HAVE heeded t the sizing down recommendations (BAD IDEA, IMO). EVERY step was uncomfortable (because of the close fit), and IN ADDITION to the TIGHTNESS, there are no cushions in the sole of the shoes so I feel the impact on the surface when I walk. I have concluded that EVEN IF I had GITTEN my REGULAR SIZE, these boots would still be uncomfortable. I am sorry I didn't return them before wearing them.
