Cree LED based edison socket lamp
I purchased a few of these Cree based LED lamps - very bright and good colour - and they only use 6 watts of power. I actually used several of these to replace PAR type overhead lights in my hallways and they offer just the right amount of brightness and dispersion. These are not as bright as CFL, but are better for many applications.

Dazzling light
We recently purchased a large Pulaski curio cabinet that came with a halogen bulb. We purchased this LED bulb as a replacement mainly because it puts out almost no heat compared to the halogen bulb. The light from the LED bulb is "dazzling" and enhances the beauty of the cabinet's contents. A significant improvement over the halogen bulb! We expect it to last a lot longer too.

Great lamp for Curios
This LED offers limited dimming ability. On a switched outlet or in a curio, the light color is excellent and the width of the beam is good.

Great Little Bulb
I got this LED bulb to replace the 35 watt halogen in a curio cabinet. It fits perfectly and has a clean white light. And it's BRIGHT, almost too bright. I now have 8 LED'S in the house and my electric bill just continues to go lower.

It works and fits as expected. Whether it will last is any bodies guess as I've had other bulbs give up the ship years earlier.
