The Classic Rollei: A Definitive Guide

This was a great book. The people who sold it to me were actually in the UK not New York, as explained in the listing. The book took months to arrive, but the company made write by the delay, and the information was worth it.

I started collecting and using film cameras about a year ago. The interesting design and build quality of two Rollei 35's I bought got my thinking about the Rollei TLRs but had zero knowledge about them. This is the perfect book for learning about the Rollei TLRs. Very high quality printing and construction. Very detailed and easy to find information on every Rollei TLR, lots of nicely done photographs. Also helpful sections, like how to buy a Rollei TLR including what to check out when looking one over, lens tests, exploded views, accessories explained, and a detailed index. If you want to learn about the Rollei TLRs I highly recommend this book.

Printed on heavy paper and richly illustrated I found this book to be worth every penny I paid for it. While there have been numerous books written on Rollei cameras, several of which I own, this one is by far the most complete and informative that I've ever read. Not only does it cover the historical significance of the Rollei with a wealth of detailed information on the various models, lenses, shutters etc., it also covers the accessories. While I'm not a collector, I find the information invaluable. Mr. Phillips has done an extraordinary job as one would expect from the title "A Definitive Guide". As a Rollei user/lover I would highly recommend this for anyone that already owns a Rollei or anyone looking to purchase one of these excellent cameras. Thank you Mr. Phillips for your love and passion for the Rollei and for bringing us this book.

It is very informative if you are into Rolli or if you are a collector. But it is written in a very dry fashion, based on model number. Overall, it is a very techy and nerdy book.

The book was exactly as described. It was packed well and came undamaged. A small complaint>>it took longer than expected but I was in no hurry. i would do business with this company again.

The must-have book for Rolleiflexers, especially those who just want to buy one to start TLR photographing. Very detail information about diferent versions of Rolleiflex, and practical guide in buying and using one.

This is a very detailed and thorough guide to the Rollei twin lens reflex cameras. The quality of the publication is unmatched.
