A good\better quality inexpensive "tactical" light. Just arrived today with another brand that I wanted to use for my security patrols. Frankly, what the employer provides is great, but I want my own. I couldn't justify paying $125+ for something relatively small to carry.If you're expecting what you saw in commercials, these aren't as blinding as you think. Believe me, NONE of what you see here on the site is CLOSE to the brightness/lumens that the seller claims! (Maybe the very high end ones.)Blah visibility at 50 yards. They're a nice, relatively bright, campground, backyard, glove compartment, "what's that noise" flashlight. Excellent value.The "luminous rings" are fluorescent green rubber bands that come off with a thumb rub, and you'll lose 'em or just throw them away with the packaging.Again, a nice value - and a tremendous improvement over the old halogen or krypton bulbs. Ordering some for early stocking stuffers.Sep 17 Update - One of the light's inner o-rings came loose and smeared the inside of the lens. Can't get it open to fix and had to toss it. Questionable as to whether I'd get these again. WILL NOT be getting these for others..

I have some old style, bulky, D-cell flashlights around the house and I saw these and decided to upgrade to this smaller LED type. For the price, my expectations were low, but these are great little flashlights. They do not come with batteries, which is fine since everything seems to take AAA's now anyway so I had some extras. The beam is bright; they appear to be durable. The fact that you can turn the head of the light to widen or narrow the beam is a nice touch. I know that others have this, but most were more expensive. A good thing that makes the environmental me happy is that they come together in a single cardboard box and are each in a single sleeve of bubble wrap to prevent scratching. I truly hate all the plastic that is usually used to contain everything -not to mention trying to get those thick, heat-sealed packages open! I have two more in my cart for my next Amazon order.

I needed a small, bright light to walk the dog at night. The low price for two made me question the quality, but, if they weren’t any good, it wouldn’t be a real loss. It was surprisingly bright the first time I used it. While walking, I accidentally touched the front of the light and the beam went from narrow to wide. I didn’t realize the beam is adjustable when I purchased them. It is perfect for doing any kind of activity in the dark when an adjustable beam is useful. I plan to get two more to have in the cars.

Solidly built, nice in hand good features - except one of the two does not work! It goes on and off randomly and periodically just dims - not happy with the purchase.EDIT: I contacted the seller with the complaint that one flashlight did not work - without any questions I have been sent a replacement, which I received within couple of days - everything is working and I am happy! Look, defects may creep into the best of the products, but if they can be resolved without any hassle, I ma ready to put my 5 stars!

This set of 2 flashlights arrived on time and in good condition. At under $9, I had doubts whether they would be any good but as a lover of flashlights, I couldn't resist. They are great! Small and very substantial, they put out more light than my previous 2 favorite lights. I've always liked the zoom feature on my other flashlights and these zoom smoothly over a wide range of angles. The square light pattern on narrow beam is different but not bad and it disappears after zooming out a little. These are definitely my new favorites.

For being such an inexpensive set of flashlights, these are great. I use one for work and the other is in my car for emergencies. Spotlight really gets out to a distance and the floodlight makes everything within a working area extremely visible. I'm not really a fan of it using the 3 aaa batteries but ironically it will fit rechargeable 18650s and had worked flawlessly. The overall construction is very strong. Accidently dropped from 13 feet but it held up phenomenal.

I love that these are compact, fits right in my pocket. They are well made in my opinion. I have dropped them a few times and still works. I use mine mostly to look in on my patients at work. I shine the light at the ceiling and I can see them perfectly without having to shine it directly on them. It really lights up the whole room. The fact that you can zoom in on what you're looking at is another plus.

Only tried 1 of 2: Works great - extremely bright! Love the telescoping feature. Please observe outdoor etiquette with this item: point light down when approaching others or animals; it is blinding. One product fault: although it comes with a wrist loop, eventually that will break. The hole through which the loop runs is extremely tiny and would be difficult to replace. Could not put a keyring through that hole. Seems like an afterthought in manufacturing.
