All round machine
4 days with the product, very fast due to the SSD, gorgeous display, fast fingerprint scanner, quite light and very good build qyality. Feels very sturdy, comes with ms office(only word, powerpoint and excel) 1 yr subscription. Also comes with mcafee 1 yr subscription. No issues of heating till now, though i havent run any graphics intensive softwares.

Worked like a charm with Windows 10.Battery draining with windows 11 but I guess that is a Windows 11 issue. Go for it.Original Review:Bad speakers. Loose parts Making sound. Need replacement.

Faulty product
Laptop was looking good. But the 3rd day it stopped working as sudden. I bought from appario retail. Don't know why they are sending us such faulty product.

One of the best configured and fastest laptop in this range
I bought lenovo s540 14inch (i5, 1TB SSD) in 67k. Laptop is very light weighted, extremely slim and glossy. Start-up time is very less, finger sprint sensor works as charm and laptop doesn't make much sound. When I started Visual Studio 2019, fan were started but still it was still very quite for me.Things to note when you receive the product:1. You have to plug power cord while turning on laptop for first time. This way it will make sure that you are the first one to use it.2. Connect laptop with wi-fi so that it can download MS Office and other software pre-loaded.3. Warranty will be back dated. You need to call Lenovo Customer Care and send email with packaging receipt (provided by Amazon) so that they can update your warranty start date accordingly.

Lenovo Ideapad S540 14 inch summary
All the information was accurate, but the battery life (once fully charged) seems to be wrong. It was written 12 hours per mobile mark. But I want to add the battery life is 6 hours average. And the most beautiful thing is its IPS antiglare display. Its awesome and can cast detailed colourful images with a 180 degree clear viewing angle. And the engineering of the keyboard is superb, due to which I can type more fast compare to other laptops. I like this island type keyboard with fascinating backlit keyboard. I have delayed in posting my review...but this is a ultra slim, light weight, good looking product with an affordable price.

My fellow buyers have mentioned all the highlights so to cut the note short after extensive use for 2months, its a charm in means of fast processing amd slimness.Other highlights: Display, average upheaded speakers.Drawbacks: keyboard(for extensive typing not at all recommended), power button(flimsy).**Battery life: 5-6hrs

1px screen is not showing at bottom
Everything is okay but i feel 1px of screen is under the case. So we can't see the opened applicatiosn mark (an underline showing in windows10) in windows 10. Actually that was disappointing. Also I feel a little stuck when I use alt+tab for switching application. But it was smooth when we use the trackpad I think this issue is from windowsOtherwise I like the laptop very much. Thin and light weight also the display was good.
