I got the SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Go 256GB, and it’s been fantastic! It plugs seamlessly into both USB Type-A and Type-C ports on my Mac and Android phone. Delivery was quick, and the transfer speeds are super fast. The 256GB capacity is great for freeing up space on my phone and laptop, especially for photos and videos. It’s well-built and strong—I’ve dropped it a few times, but it still works perfectly, making it great value for money. The included key ring holder is a lifesaver for this tiny USB, though I haven’t tested its water resistance, so I’m careful. It really shines in functionality! I have also tried and tested connection with TVs, greatly working.

This is a compact USB drive with Type A and Type C connections that, formatted as FAT32, can be written to and read by Windows and Mac OS. The drive also comes with instructions and an app to use it with an Android phone with USB C connection.In terms of read and write speed I would rank this as medium to slow. Initial burst speed is 73Mb/s write and 150 Mb/s read, but this slows to a still respectable, for the price, 35.7 Mb/s write and 80 Mb/s when transferring large amounts of data. For example it takes 3 minutes to transfer 2Gb of data (on the 128Gb version).The compact dimensions means that there is plenty of room to slot in another drive or USB C connector on my Macbook Pro. In use the drive gets warm but not hot.For portability the cover flips over to protect the USB C connector while the USB A plug is recessed. The connection to my Macbook feels very secure and indicates good build quality as you would expect from Sandisk.Good value, then, with one star deducted for slowing write speeds when moving data.

I bought the SanDisk Dual Drive Ultra Go 128GB specifically to create a Windows recovery drive for my laptop, and it worked perfectly. Purchased black 256gb stick to store a large amount of photo's. Currently have many USB sticks, but went for this one in particular as it has 2 different connectors so can be used both with a standard USB connected to a laptop, but also to a USB C to download from a mobile phone (its compatible with samsung).It is a lot smaller than i expected so keep it somewhere safe! The USB C connector has a flip-over cover to protect it, but strangely the normal USB connector end doesn't come with any cover. I think for safety when not in use a safety protection cover would have been better on both ends. USB connection in laptop port is a tight fit to get in and out. USB C fits mobile snuggly. Downloaded 200+ photo's from laptop to this sandisk in no time at all. Very impressed with it - dual connection is the way forward. Accessed downloaded photo's many times both using laptop and via mobile phone with no issues. Still loads of room left on stick for further photo's as required. Consider this item good value for money.

works very fast. no issue with connection. it does get hot when up or downloading a lot of data but don't get worried, it is designed to handle the heat. It is smaller than I expected but I guess modern technology moves fast.

I'm happy with it, it works really well. The transfer speeds have been fast, and I appreciate having both connection types. Mine's cooler because it's purple, but I'm sure the other colours work fine too ;) It's good value for 256GB, it seems well made.

I would not recommend this device for secure use. It is far too slow and runs extrmely hot once security (encryption) has been enabled (Windows 11, default device formatting options). Two minutes to open or save a 50k Office file is prohibitive. If anyone knows of a solution to this issue, I'd be grateful if you could respond to this. I have tried Bitlocker+exFAT and Vercrypt+NTFS.In summary it fits ok, the twin connectivity is great, as is its capacity (1 Tb), but it has poor compatability once secuity has been enabled and thus is poor value for money as I wanted to keep my data secure.Without encryption it runs ok, and is warm rather than hot - which is why I've given it 3 stars not 1.
