Why did you pick this product vs others?:I purchased this to replace an old regular thin cotton cloth travel pillow cover. I use the travel pillow as my regular nightly pillow. I'm a side and back sleeper and switch positions frequently during the night. I find that the small travel pillow is much easier to manipulate and position and as such it does a better job of supporting my head than a standard pillow does.This pillow cover is very well built, well cushioned and closes around the travel pillow with a zipper. This is much better than the old plain cloth open ended pillow cover I had been using. I didn't have much hope that the "cool side" feature would actually work and thought it was more of a marketing gimmick. To my surprise, I found out that this actually does work and the "cool side" of the pillow cover is significantly cooler than the "plush side". I did not think that there was a fabric that would actually accomplish this, but there is.

This is the second cooling pillow cover I bought. I have 2 coop pillows. I do like them but I wish the coolness was on both sides of the case.

This pillow case really does cool. If the spot where I’m lying gets warm I move over a little to a cool spot. I can move back to my regular spot pretty quickly

Excellent pillow cover for warm sleepers!

I had an original Coop pillow. With chronic neck pain I've tried ALL the pillows, and ultimately don't need a big puffy pillow but instead one to support the curvature of my neck C1/C2. The travel size pillow is a great value and the amount of pillow I need. I'd already bought the extra Cool+ fill, which fills the travel size perfectly, with room to shape the fill for under my neck. Will be great for warmer temps! On the downside, even during these cold winter months I notice the surface DOESN'T stay cool.

hottest sleep I've ever had. only cool first few seconds, COLD in fact. but that quickly changes. in seconds it becomes probably the same temp as your body was to begin with. after a few minutes it becomes warm. I think the warm side of the pillow case only exists to make you think it can get worse, but in hindsight the warm side might've been better to use.through the night it got so hot I was constantly waking up and adjusting all night to find new areas of the pillow I haven't used in a while, but even on this king size I quickly ran out of real estate, because however long it takes to turn cool again after you move your head to a new spot (in my 70 degree house, with ceiling fan on medium) it is more than a few minutes. after waking up, my neck and shoulders where they touched this thing is still hot, even as I write this, because it was so horrible that yes, I just processed the return, printed the label, and wrote this review by 6:14 AM.
