Meta Quest 2 Elite Strap

Coming from an original Oculus Quest I found the basic strap on the Quest 2 to be a massive step down. I simply can't get it comfortable and have to keep readjusting it and it also catches on my ears and irritates them too. If you're constantly have to fiddle with the headset during a game then it's breaking the immersion.It's clear that Facebook have reduced the cost of the headset to appeal to more people but have cut some corners to achieve this. They also charge a lot of money for the accessories, so this Elite strap is about £50 and the Oculus Link cable is about £90.This Elite strap does transform the Quest 2 into a more comfortable device and allows you to balance the weight a bit better. The headset itself is still heavy due to the battery etc. but this strap does help to negate that. The adjustment wheel on the back makes it much easier to adjust and less fiddly than the basic strap.It is perhaps a little expensive for what you actually get but it does improve the comfort significantly for me. The Oculus Quest 2 paired with this Elite Strap is still £50 cheaper than an original Oculus Quest was though.

very good, i prefer it to the battery one because it's lighter and didnt have the bad batch like the battery one.you can always slip a power bank in your pocket, almost better because you can swap them out

The plastics it is made from is very cheap because mine as cracked after not a great deal of use! Beware you may have to replace sooner than you think! But comfort wise 4/5 can feel it after long sessions but helps take the weight of the headset of the face!

Son loves it, said it's comfortable and the adjuster is better than on his old one as doesn't stick out.

Decided to go for an Elite strap when the price came down. So glad I did. Completely makes a difference to the whole experience of 'brick strapped to bonce', by balancing out the weight and feeling properly fitted to your head. It's an absolute must for any meta quest user and there's even a bonus: after previously spending £20 on a hard shell case for my Meta quest, I was miffed to realise that it would no longer fit due to the added Elite strap. A new, bigger case was going to cost me another £25.00. But then I realised that the nice solid box that the Elite strap came in is actually the perfect size for the Meta quest, Elite strap, controllers and cables. Just add a little soft packing and it's perfect! (See pictures) What a result, making the whole purchase even more of a bargain. 😊

If it's discounted just get it. Way better than the original strap. Otherwise probably get a better third party strap.
