This is hands-down one of the best kitchen purchases I've ever made. It seems silly that it's such a small thing, but to be able to just put the block of tofu in the box and stick it in the fridge is a game changer. I no longer have to waste a million paper towels and take up all that counter space trying to press tofu.

Works great should have gotten one sooner. Also works with 16 ounce.

So far it works wonders! Really is great at removing water.

Well made. Easy to clean. Gets a lot of water out of the tofu. However, with just the single spring in the center, it seems to press the tofu a bit lopsidedly. (I've only pressed 2 blocks of extra firm. Both tended to be thinner on the side of the press towards the "front", where the spout is located). I do like that you can easily pour off the liquid without taking anything apart or releasing the press. I tried "cheating" the top back towards the other side of the press the 2nd time to see if it would even out the pressure. Maybe my tofu was just denser on one end? I don't think it's a big deal, but if you're trying to make even portions, having one end of the block up to 3/8" thicker than the other is a teensy annoying.

This is perfect for the job. No more piling a cast iron pan over tofu in a baking dish.
