Great for thickness uses and several other uses also.

These feeler gauges appear to be just what I need. They are well made and come coated in a special grease to prevent moisture damage. I plan to use these in my hobby shop for many types of use other than thickness. They appear to be exactly what I need.P.S. You may find a review that was mixed up with the plastic container! Sorry, don't know how that came about. Just delete it please.

Just Another Standard Set of Feller Gauges

Nowadays, most cars are designed under the metric system. Yet, feeler gauges are usually set up using the US/imperial system, which means that you’ll see sequential thickness in inches. The result is they jump quite a bit on the metric side. I have a vehicle requiring a check from .12 to .18mm on one side and .34 to .41mm on the other. I end up with 3 shims at the most that fit within these ranges. I bought these as often times, there are only two shims that would work in these ranges. I would rather pay more for what I need than end up with a limited range. I figure I’d stand more chances on these sets since there are two, but no such luck.In the end, regardless of the comments above, they come in little plastic sleeves. They cute, but totally useless. The only thing they are good for is to keep all the parts together. In both cases, the nut was not installed on the screw so they were all loose, but together. Otherwise, these sleeves don’t last. They are made of a very thin, low grade plastic and as I’ve experienced before they will degrade quite quickly. In the end they’ll end up in the trash anyway. They’re only good for shipping, and keeping them oiled.

No dislikes.

No dislikes... Delivered on time. Lots and lots of oil on them when opened but that just protects the metal but ya' got to clean it off. Will see how they last and I have NOT miked them yet, making the assumption they are correct thickness's at this time.

Very Good

Great price for a two pack of feeler gauges. More often than not you need at least two to space both sides of a part.Only negative was that the nut holding the feelers together had come loose/off at some point and I had to remove them from the plastic pouch VERY carefully to avoid dropping them all over the floor.

Not as clearly marked as advertised : (

Other than hit or miss etching/inking, they did the job albeit they are shorter in length than I was expecting. The price was right and shipping was fast. I'm not sure what the reason is for the two different piece counts on the blades, but they both skip from .10mm to .13mm in thickness. Not able to find an .11mm or .12mm in either of my sets. One set includes a Brass .10mm feeler gauge. They are covered with oil "to prevent rust" per the manufacturer, however they also claim to be stainless steel. Get what you pay for ain't no lie. : )

Good cheap filler gauges.

Used these to adjust my 1998 Valkyrie head and exhaust valves. My Valkyrie is now running smooth and Tickless.
