McGraw-Hill Education Beginning Spanish Grammar: A Practical Guide to 100+ Essential Skills

I like how I don't have to rush to understand what is being taught. I can't wait to finish going through this book. It's fun for me to do this book I am having so much fun with this book.

I like the short lesson format. It makes it easy to do a lesson per day. I just got back from a Spanish school in Spain and altheough they did not use this book in class, the recommended it for supplementary grammar study. It does not cover Latin American variations.

I purchased this to help refresh my Spanish (second major in college) after 25+ years with little practice.This is not a book for people just learning! You need at least 3 years of high school Spanish to understand and complete the exercises.I would give it a 5, but there are errors in the answer key. Not many, but they're there.

I purchased this textbook in order to review my knowledge of Spanish usage. I enjoyed the exercises. The level is at advanced beginner. Within the structure of a class it works well. As an instrument of self study I would not recommend it. The authors selected up to date situations and gave good examples. I have not found any flaws.

The book is nice if you had had some Spanish background, other wise it can be quite confusing. The topics are organized, even though the grammar they use in the exercises is quite advanced, even for numbers and easy topics . The explanations are completely in English, which make it easier to understand.

It’s a useful book with lots of practice but it’s missing blank spaces for answers in some activities.

The content in Beginning Spanish Grammar (McGraw-Hill) is good, but there are not enough instructions (in English) for a beginning student. The pages are jam-packed with exercises and illustrations, but the font and illustrations are too small, making them hard to read, and the spaces to write answers in are too small. It took me over an hour to do each of the first three units, and I wasn't inclined to continue any further. Frustrating.

Very good book at a decent price and well worth the money. Also user friendly.

Muy bueno para usarlo en clase, tanto como referencia como para ejercicios. Pocos libros son tan fáciles de entender para los de habla inglesa.
