Hi Elizabeth, I have run across the same problem. If you use your phone and go to the search box on Google, to the right of the microphone is a small camera. Go ahead and touch The camera and position it over the stone you were trying to identify. This will help some, although it is far from perfect right now. My only other suggestion is try to find it in A rocks and gems book. Also, go back to Amazon and look up the purchase you made. In the description they should list most of what you were getting, And you just have to match them up. I’m with you, the sellers should have all the stones labeled. Good luck.

Q: Roughly how many different types of crystals could be in the 3lb package? Assuming you may receive multiples of certain ones?

Maybe 5or 6? Each bag is different. I've bought multiple bags to use in potted plants.

Q: Are these safe for an aquarium?

Not all crystals are safe to put in water. Crystals like selenite are soft, as per the Mohs scale of hardness, Selenite is soft & will deteriorate in water. some crystals are safe but some aren't. I'd double check on google to see if the crystal you're using is water safe before putting them in an aquarium

few stones are ok, the rest are not sufficient.

Beautiful stones! They are a lovely size as well! I do have a few complaints though... I have quite a few stones that are tiny and not the size of the others and can't do what I originally wanted with them. Not only that but I have a couple stones that doesn't look like the pictures and have no idea what they are. They look like rocks picked up from the ground and thrown into the bunch. Out of the 35 there, I can only use about 21 of them. The rest are the size of regular tumble stones. The rose quartz are very faint and small so I cannot use a single one of those either. Same for the citrine.

Little rinsing would make them perfect.

These stones came well packed and quick enough, but not pre- washed which is not a big problem if you have water for that.All over I am happy for my purchase- stones are in promised size with some smaller shards.I put in the picture all of them I received so enyone can see value and size.
