Bought this same light 5 years ago & I drilled a hole in top & had it mounted on a lower custom shelf so I could swivel anywhere to work on my under-desk PC's & external hard drives.So, after abusing this light I finally just wore it out due to no failure of the product.I immediately bought the same incredible light!I highly recommend & endorse this product!

I've been using the TROND LED Desk Lamp with Clamp for a variety of tasks, and I’m really impressed with its performance. I initially bought it for nighttime sewing, but I've found it to be incredibly versatile for other activities like close-up photography of miniatures and even late-night reading.One of the standout features of this lamp is its brightness and range. With three different light levels, it can provide anything from a soft, ambient glow to a bright, focused light that's perfect for detailed work. The lamp head is larger than most, which diffuses the light well and prevents it from being too harsh, especially on the highest setting.The lamp’s flexible gooseneck is sturdy enough to hold its position without sagging, though I do wish it were a bit longer. However, this minor issue is outweighed by the benefit of it being able to support the weight of the lamp head effectively. The clip is another strong point—it’s robust and grips securely to a variety of surfaces, whether it’s the edge of a desk or even a window sill. The cord is long enough to give you plenty of flexibility in positioning, so you’re not restricted to being near an outlet, which I really appreciate.I do wish the control system was a little different. The touch function on the top of the light is convenient, but I would have preferred a remote switch on the cord or the base. That said, it’s not a dealbreaker, especially given the overall quality and price of the lamp. It’s also worth mentioning that the lamp has a USB charging port, which is super handy for keeping my phone charged while I work or read.For the price, this lamp offers excellent value. It’s strong, versatile, and the range of brightness levels means it can adapt to a variety of tasks. If you’re looking for a reliable LED lamp for sewing, crafting, reading, or even photography, I highly recommend the TROND LED Desk Lamp with Clamp. It’s become one of my favorite tools, and I’m confident it will last a long time.

I bought this in 2018 and it's still going strong. I've moved it to several locations depending on my needs. The touch on/off/dim is very easy to use.

The media could not be loaded. Great clamp on light! 3 dimmer levels easy to use. The goose neck is awesome!My only issue is it does flicker a little! Can definitely bug your eyes! I use it for painting. Maybe I got one with a bad bulb?? Idk.Also the clamp is nice sized & latches well . Just wish it didn’t flicker.

i was a little hesitant to drop $40 on a task lamp, but i thought i'd give it a shot given the reviews. only had it a day and i don't regret it.it's a great task lamp. i have it clipped to the shelf over my desk, and can easily transfer it to my desk or drawing table. the light source is defused (instead of being an exposed bulb) which is great for a task lamp. i don't get blinded by it if i happen to glance up at it.the different temperatures and brightness's are incredibly handy and really why i bought this lamp. i like the versatility of being able to use it for reading as well as for more color accurate artwork, to use is when i just need a little additional light or have to illuminate my whole desk.the goose neck is plenty long for this style of lamp. it extends a holds it's own weight fairly well. the device itself is not bulky, easy to move about, though i think the power cord could be longer.some of the negative reviews i've seen have to do with the clamp and the buttons. it is true, the clamp has its limits, as do all clamps, but i think it's more than generous for size and more than strong enough to support the weight of the lamp. time will tell if it can keep it's grip. there is also a notch in the base of the clamp if you want to wall mount it!this lamp isn't going to replace any room lighting. it's not going to be the main source of light in a room. however this lamp is plenty bright (remember the brightness adjusts) for close personal use, like at a desk or reading. it also specifically states that it's intended for focused light.i also saw that some folks did not like the buttons. i find this to be a matter of preference rather than a flaw in the product. you can't really feel the buttons and they are touch sensitive (require no pressure), so if you have your lamp clamped in an inconvenient place where you can't see the lamp base, you may brush over a bunch of buttons before finding the one you wanted. while that can be annoying (i have a monitor with these kinds of buttons, and i've accidentally turned it off by brushing against it) i don't see it much of a drawback. the lamp is designed for you to keep it within arms reach (it has a USB charger on it after all) so if you are looking for something you want to keep out of the way and only flick on occasionally, blindly in the dark, this won't be a lamp you want.long story short (too late?): this is a really useful task lamp with some solid construction and useful features. if you need a handy up-close-and-personal desk lamp designed well for desk tasks, this is a great choice. please keep the measurements in mind when buying this item, and remember that this is a focused desk lamp, not room lighting!
