I usually use an oil based makeup remover at night and like to finish up my skin care routine with a light cleanser. This is a great skin cleanser that is light, foamy and delivers squeaky clean skin without the overly dry after affects. It does have fragrance to it which I believe are from essential oils, as I have not had any skin sensitivity to it which I have with most fragrances. This is a clean, fresh and excellent way to cleanse my skin I do love the Himalayan mineral salts which is great for assisting in dead skin removal.

Skin soothing and calming is how you can describe this gentle cleanser which is perfect for oily skin. Very little is needed so it is very economical. The best way to use this is to put a little on a washcloth with a little tepid water. Then apply and rinse off again with the washcloth. I follow this with a hydrating face cream. A little surprise in the box is a few samples of other product by this company. Nice! There is a toner and some face cream and a sample of another face wash. The deep moisturizing cream is great too and the cellus revive toner is very calming. Nice!

I already have dry skin so one of the most important things I look for in a cleanser is something that gives me a good clean without drying out my skin. This product does a great job at that, my skin is able to stay moisturized after cleansing meaning I dont have to use a strong moisturizer and dont have to use as much. I have definitely noticed a noticeable decrese in acne and general blemishes on my face compared to the generic cleansers I had been using before. When applying I am easily able to get a nice foamy lather with just a bit of water and the cleaner washes away easily so I dont have to sit there scrubbing away bits of soap for a long time. I notice the very little scent, you would really have to be looking for it if you wanted to notice it. I have never been a fan of strong scents in my face care products so I am happy with that. Overall a great cleaner that has worked well for me and I will continue to use.

I recently purchased this product and it smells differently than the ones ordered in the past. Did the formula change?

when it comes to washing my face - i just have a couple requirements. 1) the soap gets everything, including my mascara and eyeliner. 2) my face doesnt feel like it's going to implode from dryness after. that's it. and this fits into both of those. granted i still use moisturizer after but it doesn't feel super urgent. and when i use toner after washing my face it doesn't grab anything else so my face it completely clean after washing it. it's crazy sudsy and gets all the things, including my eye makeup which is usually what is left behind with other cleansers. because of all the suds, a little goes a long way as well so this tube is lasting a while - so worth the cost. i'd continue using it, easily.
