Dritz Fray Check Liquid Seam Sealant 2-Pack – Permanent Clear Fabric Edge Protector to Prevent Fraying and Secure Thread Ends – 0.75 oz Bottles

I started using this Dritz Fray Check Liquid while in the military to keep those salty uniforms from fraying and having to break in new uniforms, and now use this easily applied liquid to seams that are starting to pull apart and fraying edges on my "old friend" shirts and pants. Use this and do less sewing and patching. Two pack is pretty cheap, and last a long time, and are well sealed, so when the first bottle dries out, you cut the tip off the second bottle.

This stuff is amazing! I can’t sew at all and don’t have the money for expensive tailoring. I take a yardstick and level and mark the dress, pants, etc. cut with electric scissors. Then put on the fray liquid. I don’t do it neatly or uniformly; but the results are amazing. ANYONE can do this! I definitely recommend and would buy the double pack.

I use this on every new pair of frayed jeans to prevent holes or fraying from getting out of hand. I run a bead of fray-check around the frayed part on the inside and outside of the jeans, let dry, then throw them in the washer. Once they dry the newly sealed seams are not stiff and the I’ve had these forever look will remain.

I use the liquid to apply around ironed patches and also holes, frays on clothing, backpacks, clothing bags, etc. Wears well through several washings. Extends the life of clothes, especially my pants.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Worked good on my fabrics but careful with silk fabric as it spread into a stain along the edge but was ok since I could hide with seams. Would buy again.

Great bottles to use when sewing. They keep fabric from unraveling. I use this item after I serge seams together. A bottle last a long time. I'm happy with the product.

Lil stinky so you should use it in a well ventilated area. Bought it to seal the fraying edges of tiny little doll clothes, and it works well for the purpose and has dried without being too noticeable darkening of the fabric.
