William and the Evacuees New Edition

One of the two 'missing' books that had been deleted by the publisher after the War as being too 'dated' for contemporary readers of the times. They were eventually re-published under different titles, though this one goes nicely with the other one in my 'William' collection. Good condition and, as ever, a thoroughly enjoyable read!

I was recommended to buy this book by some fellow members of my writing group. I am in the process of writing a children's book, set in World War Two, and they thought it might help me with dialogue of the time.
