Yes, in the link on how to use it, http://www.drberg.com/massage-tool-manual, I included an additional booklet that is amazing for low back pain triggering the lower abdomen (opposite to your low back). It's way better than working on the low back directly.

Dr. Berg has several videos available on his website showing how to use it! I have only used this device to help me sleep which it works very well for!

It can be used lying on the floor, bed, or easy chair. You may have to play with it to find what position is most comfortable for you.

It doesn't use electricity so it works anywhere.
