Like many others, I've have been working from home (WFH) since March 2020 due to Covid. I find the isolation of working solo in my apartment on my laptop all day quite hard...depressing some days, to be quite frank. I'm already prone to low-grade depression in general, so Covid has been really taxing on my mental health.Since I needed a new table lamp for my WFH setup anyway, I decided to try this HappyLight Duo desk lamp and I LOVE IT. It not only provides excellent, crisp, clear light on my WFH desk, but I like that it's also providing me with light therapy to lift my mood some during these dark times (literally since it's winter...and figuratively, you know, like with Covid, ugly politics, war, etc.). I genuinely think I feel better/lighter/cheerier after I've been working by my HappyLight Duo for several hours.I also like the different settings the HappyLight Duo has that change the brightness of the light (I think there are 7 gradients) and the "type/temperature" of light you get (3 different modes). I use the brightest light in the morning to try to help wake up faster and try to get some morning good cheer going. I actually keep the light on in the afternoon just because it's nice and adds warmth to my apartment. And finally, I use the lower and mellower settings in the evening when I'm still working on my laptop, but don't want the light to be so intense.Oh, one last thing! The design is simple and lovely. That's another reason I chose it - it looks nice on my desk along with all my white and silver Apple products. I am a minimalist style-wise and I really appreciate the simple design and white color. It's a handsome, modern-looking lamp. It's so great that the HappyLight Duo is dual-purpose AND looks good!Sending love and light and joy and hope to all those who suffer from depression. I understand. Do any little thing you can to help make yourself feel better...like perhaps buying this HappyLight Duo. It's worth the money.

This was by far my best purchase of the year! I bought the happy light to brighten up my very dim office. I was impressed by the quality build, the ease of use, and all of the brightness settings.

This is the best sunlight I’ve ever had for the purpose of being a sunlight. I saw a video testing that it had a high circadian light value which is what you want and it feels like it.The 3 color settings are nice and match other lights almost perfectly.Oh, and there’s almost no glare!! - this is big for me bc these bright lights are often blinding but this one is great.My disappointment is the build is big and not very attractive. The base and light are wide and take a lot of space.My biggest annoyance is controlling the brightness; you have to press a button 7 times to cycle through and it’s hard to tell where it’s at. If there was a knob or scale it would be much better.Overall I’d give a 3.5 because of price and design.But, would still recommend for quality of light.

Excellent light with good instrumentation selection selections. For personal use or (as I have) plant propagation. Nice looking medium sized table top lamp, lightweight. Good value

Purchased for home office. A perfect upgrade for the dark winter days of the Pacific Northwest.

I’ve had seasonal affective disorder as long as I can remember. The VA has purchased me many lights over the years. I saw this one on Amazon and I decided to purchase this one on my own as the price is right technology seems to have gotten better and it takes up less of a footprint then the lights I’ve had in the past.This light does what it supposed to. I sleep better, I’m able to get going in the morning better. My symptoms are not as bad without using the light twice a day. I purchased one for my 19-year-old grandson as he is diagnosed with the same as well as my 43-year-old son. They have both found great benefits from it as well. It has three different life settings with three different intensity’s. It uses a small area with respect to your desk. I highly recommend it for those that need light therapy for SAD. Great quality and I have used many different ones over the years.
