This is a well thought out design.I’ve bought many nail clippers in my 78 years and I consider these to be pretty darn good.I also own a couple of Victorinox clippers which are also very good.This clipper though, have a larger mouth which makes it easier to get the nail inside.It has a solid heavy feel and it seems to be a more comfortable fit for my hands.I don’t need the “nail clippings” catcher, but that just personal preference. It seems to catch 70% of the clippings.This is quite a good value for the money. I think you will be pleased with the purchase.

These are heavyweight clippers; sturdy, sharp and well made. They could be used for either fingernails or toenails. I love the catch compartment. Clippings stay in until you empty them. I’ve had other clippers that made that claim and never worked. These clippers are in a different league. You won’t regret purchasing them.

My first clippers that held the trimmings was a stainless steel one, made in the USA. Eventually they wouldn't even cut a babies fingernails. So my hunt for a better one began.This KLIPP is my second purchase. First, I love that it catches my trimmings and make my wife happy nails are not all over the floor. Even the weight of this one is very impressive, wow. Sharp, I think it will cut the heaviest toenails & fingernails. In short it is fantastic, just incredible.At 76 years old when I find something that really works, I like to pass it on. This will make the perfect Xmas and birthday gifts for the future.If you're searching, this will be the last one you will ever buy. An incredible product, I could not be more pleased.

TLDR; Cool concept; not practical, and does not hold clippings well.The weight makes it’s challenging to hold compared to a normal nail clipper, especially when you’re trying to cut from different angles.The compartment that is supposed hold the nail clippings only works if you’re cutting your nails pointing in a downward position. Cutting your nails from any other angle, will surely results in the nail clippings falling out from its side.As for how the cutting mechanism works, a nub is located right under the level, which pushes against the door latch to the compartment that is supposed to hold the nail clipping. Over time, the door latch will wear out, needing to buy a new clipper after use.A better design is called for, especially for the loose clippings that escape if the clipper is held in any other position than level.

Wow! This clipper is the real McCoy. Its very sharp. It captures flying nails in a very clever container that is easy to empty. It also is a little larger, allowing for an easy grip for larger hands. No slipping when you squeeze to clip. Would I recommend it? You bet. Would I buy again? In a minute!

Great clipppers- replaced a pair of clippers I had used for many years that weren't very good. Prompt delivery and painless transaction.

Just got this nail cutter delivered today. I was hoping it would work better than my old nail cutter, but it didn't. I used it as soon as I got it, and it made my nails crooked and coarse, like a dull knife under a microscope. Although this looks like something that would last for a couple of years since it is well-built, I am also hoping they would add a built-in nail filer behind the top part of the nail cutter for dual purposes. The nail catcher work ok, but it leaks a little on the side if there are smaller nail pieces. The nail catcher mechanism is not 100% sealed; it's just a metal flap that flips whenever you need to use the nail cutter to cover the nail catcher bin or put it away.Other than those flaws I mentioned, I will still keep this nail cutter until it breaks since I have used it and I don't want to return it for hygienic reasons.I am not sure if i got a bad batch or if its just how it is.

Love it, the larger size fits my hands better than an other I've tried. Feels solid, and there's no mess with clippings all over the floor.
