I'm very happy with Adams Plus Pyrethrin Dip For Dogs and Cats!This dip works wonders. It effectively kills and repels fleas, ticks, lice, gnats, mosquitoes, and flies on both my dogs and cats. It's easy to use, and a little goes a long way.My pets are much more comfortable after using this. If you're looking for a reliable solution to common pet pests, this dip is excellent. Highly recommend!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I got this product to mix in with my carpet shampoo for killing fleas. It was just an idea and it really seemed to work. Also it's good for dipping your pets as well to control flea infestation. I would recommend for dipping and carpet treatment as well

Product works well, but was shipped without a lid. Easy instructions and use. Smell is not overwhelming and the product cleaned up flea issue on animal bedding with speed.

This is a reliable product and the price here is the lowest I've found. With 4 big dogs, I use this to kill fleas before putting on their flea collars.

I use it on my 3 dogs as a rinse after a bath, it keeps the fleas off them when their in the woods

I followed the instructions perfectly but two of my cats almost died anyway due to toxicity. If you decide to use this on your cat please use LESS than suggested to lower the chance of toxicity from pyrethrum-based flea products - IT IS VERY REAL. After dipping make sure they are completely dry before you let them out of your sight, this will lessen the chance of them licking themselves and ingesting more of it. If you cat is shivering a lot, after dipping and drying, it could be toxicity tremors. If you notice any signs of toxicity rinse them immediately under warm running water, then do it a second time (dry them afterwards - it is very important to dry them), to get as much off of them as possible.This product gets rid of fleas but I cannot, in good conscious, recommend using it but if you do just keep in mind that the active ingredient of this is, pyrethrum, is a toxin. The dip seeps into their skin so it will kill fleas but that same poison is also circulating through your cat. The common signs of toxicity from this is muscle tremors and excessive salivation. If you believe your cat is showing these signs rinse them thoroughly and bring them to the vet.
