Kevlar-Sleeves Arm Protectors for Thin Skin and Bruising

I had a lot of tall bushes that needed trimming and on day 1, my arms were all scratched up! I'm very happy with these sleeves as they are very durable, easy to put on and take off and very long. The velcro is adjustable to fit different arm sizes and I found the fit to be spot on. The material was sturdy without being too heavy. When I finished trimming, I had zero scratches and no sunburn. I will be getting a lot of use out of these.

I do a lot of gardening and work in the yard. As I have grown older the skin on my arms is thin and much more prone to tearing and bruising. These slip on guards are just the ticket. They leave the thumb and all fingers exposed and have a Velcro strip to fasten them securely. They fit my arms so snuggly that the fastener at the top of the arm is not that necessary, but it’s there if needed.Now….in 100 degree weather they are not “cool” to wear, but it’s better than going thru a box of bandaids each week. Thick material that is resistant to anything sharp….garden tools, knives.

As you age your skin becomes more fragile and bruise easily. I purchased these to help prevent the recurring bruising. They work pretty well, but I still get some from harder hits working in the yard.

I really do like these! They have protected my arms well and are comfortable. Not to warm when I am wearing them. They are great for bathing an unruly dog and protecting from thorns. I have washed mine in the washing machine and hung them up to dry. My hands and arms look so much better!

I ordered the forearm sleeves and when I received them I thought they were too thick. I decided to keep them for gardening and grooming my dog. I ordered thinner sleeves that I could wear all the time. I thought the thinner sleeves would be cooler, but they are not. Both sleeves are warm, but they do protect my thin skin. My forearm measures 10” at widest and these sleeves will stretch several more inches. I would purchase again.
