This is a great little addition to my kitchen. I followed the instructions to use it which are nice and simple, but I didn’t use the recipes that come with it as I wanted a lower fat/sugar ice cream. The first one I tried I used skimmed milk, coconut cream and granulated sweetener, I thought it might take me a couple of goes to get it right, but my first batch was spot on, tasty with a great consistency, and with a little bit of grated chocolate on top to finish it off. I’ve also used it to make some apple juice slush drinks for my son who gave it a thumbs up. These again were nice and simple to make.My recommendation with this is to follow the preparation instructions. I tried mixing my first batch straight from the freezer without leaving it to stand and it was a bit of a struggle to get the wand through. But the next batch I let stand for 10 minutes and it was much easier.The wand itself feels well-built and sturdy. It arrived well packaged and wrapped in recyclable materials rather than loads of plastic. I’ve tried ice cream makers before, and I’ve found them to be bit of a faff and bulky to store when I’m not using them. This wand is simple to use and nice and compact to store when it’s not in use which is a bonus. The containers are a perfect size for single portions or two smaller portions for kids, but I would like some additional containers for bigger batches for if I was entertaining. Yes, you have to prepare the mixture and freeze the day before, but with other ice cream makers I always found myself preparing the ice cream the day before anyway.I can see myself getting plenty of use out of this and would recommend it to anyone.

Chose this model over other brands because I wanted an ice cream maker but I don't have space to store a big machine in my kitchen. The fact you can make 3 flavours is great for being able to make a flavour for me and a flavour for my hubby and an extra one too. The freezer pots are super handy and don't take up much space in my already very full freezer so that's a win. Its really easy to use, and such a simple way to make ice cream at home. I have only had it for 3 days and already made 5 batches! A top buy that I know I will get a lot of use out of. My top tip - always keep at least one pot in the freezer with your ice cream mix ready to go so you can churn a little treat whenever you fancy!

The ice cream maker packs down really well for storage in the cupboard and the price is verycompetitive so I wanted to try it out. Other ice cream makers take up so much space in the freezerand on the work surface.Size:The 3 small pots fit well in the freezer and only need to be frozen on alevel surface - after that they can be slotted into a small gap in another draw. They also give agenerous serving size despite looking like small pots.The slushie come out well and the ice cream is lovely! Ice cream maker:I love that I can make icecream at home, quickly and easily without any nasty artificial flavouring or any random additives likeemulsifiers in my desert!Makes super creamy ice cream!

Saw this on instagram on a hot Saturday and given the price, decided to go for it and can honestly say it was a great decision. Started safe with a basic vanilla recipe and it came out delicious and creamy! Can’t wait to start experimenting. And hardly takes up any room at all in the cupboard as it’s about the same size as my hand blender.

Don't be tempted to put a whole litre of mix in as it will almost certainly come over the edge of the mixing bowl. Works a treat, and quickly. Pretty quiet in operation and very simple to use. So far I've been just using cartons of premade mix (half a litre at a time), which is fine to begin with. I will move to proper home made in due course. The three main components (bowl, whisk and lid) are apparently not dishwasher safe .. which is a pity, but they are simple enough to clean by hand so it's not a major flaw.

I was pleasantly surprised by how easy and enjoyable it is to make ice cream at home with this product. Its compact size allows it to fit conveniently in a drawer. My kids loved the taste and it was a joyful experience. This machine ticks all boxes for me. Thank you, Cuisinart. I highly recommend this product.

Bought on a whim to help battle the hot weather, best decision of the summer. It’s super easy to use and makes the most delicious ice cream with the perfect texture in seconds. So far I’ve tried ice cream with cookies, and a sorbet, I can’t wait to play with the other features. Unlike other ice cream makers, it tidies away nicely so is great for my smaller kitchen. Bonus points for the paper packaging, I love it when brands show they care.

I love this, exactly as described and expected. Ice cream in about 45 minutes with no messing. A little bit of prep, put everything in and wait. I don’t bother with the recommendation to let things sit for two hours and this doesn’t seem to affect anything.
