love this balance board - use it a lot during the day with my standing desk at work - keeps me alert in the afternoons

I have been using this for a couple of weeks. Its great for posture, its comfortable, I even use it with no shoes some days, really soft under the feet. It isn't something I can use all day, but that is personal to me. I find it does help with back issues especially while stood at the desk working. I would recommend it to anyone who is working on a 'stand up at desk' unit. A handy second use is when you are sat at the desk, use it as a foot rest or ankle and foot exerciser.

I like the board and will keep using one with my standing desk, but the quality is terrible. It clearly wont last long

You NEED this. I brought this to my office to pair with my standing desk and it just makes standing much more comfortable. I wouldn’t say it really builds a core but it def helps with posture and lifts the heavy weight we put on our feet from shifting all day. Literally everyone at my office loves it and so many ppl ask to borrow it, it’s perfect for focus and for getting some movement in throughout the day !

This product was cheaper than the other boards and I liked it because it was much wider and I am very tall. As it turns out, I don't stand with the feet very far apart on it, so the regular ones would have worked just as well, but this was still way cheaper. Much better than a standing mat. The movements help stretch the leg muscles.

After two years of sitting at a desk and not moving around much, I decided I needed a change. Switched to a standing desk, but really struggled - I realize I am constantly switching positions while I sit in a chair - needed something to give me that feeling of movement. It’s great - not hard to use. Super comfy on your feet (I am barefoot). Good for balance and engaging your core, without being difficult.

My office provides "fluidstance" balance boards for use with our standing desks. They are fantastic, probably the best you can buy. BUT they are VERY expensive. So, I thought I'd give the Gaiam Evolve Balance Board a try and I'm glad I did. The Gaiam board is a great product at a great price. it's 90% as good as the fluidstance at a much much better price. And the light weight plastic actually makes it easier to move/store than the metal fluidstance. I'd recommend this board to anyone wanting a home balance board that allows a narrow or wide stance.
