Q: I just received the product and the backdrop won't stay up? I've tried using the cheap fold over tab things that are a part of the box.

My backdrops are bent from being shipped. The backdrops are shaped basically the same as the back and the bottom of the box. I place the backdrop in so the bend is towards me and the ends are in the tabs. Then I push the bend section into the corner. This creates some force against the tabs and is held in place.

Q: Does this come with the phone clip and tripod that is pictured in several pictures?

Yes, it does come with phone clip and tripod. However, I have a Samsung Galaxy s7 and the phone clip is too small. Useless for me.

Q: Would the average size wine glass fit?

Definately yes, possibly even a wine bottle

Q: safe plug: What is the max time it can be plugged in? I got a smaller version and after 20 mins it burned out and started smelling like burning.

You are lucky, I had one it lasted 10 minutes and the plug got soooo hot I could barely touch it to unplug it. Got the replacement in today and it lasts 6 minutes and overheats. I've tried several of my apple iphone cubes and every one does the same thing. I even set a timer. I can't use it for more than 10 minutes without it getting tooo hot. LED lights should never get this hot.

Excellent for product photography

This is great for small product photography. I use this along with a camera ring light stand that I got separately and it’s perfect for me. The stand it comes with appears cheap and flimsy. Also, I wish the backgrounds would stick better to give that clean finish, but they don’t. But if you’re looking for a low cost option to take product pics for your marketplace or some other work, this is a great option. It’s easy to setup and lightweight. The lighting is pretty good too.
