First impressions - great budget buy!
First impressions: good quality build, the keyboard really doesn’t feel cheap at all to me. It’s got a good weight to it and looks sleek (matches my “ocean” theme perfectly). The typing is soooo nice, it’s got that milky sound to the keys which is my absolute favorite. It’s super easy to use / set up, and the RBG brightness is good as well. Lots of options and the manual explains how to easily change through the presets. But my first impression of this product is that it’s very well made and so far it seems to be a great keyboard for the price! Very happy with this.

Great Steardy Solid Keyboard. Looks great too!
Love this keyboard. Lots of clackity clack if that's what you're looking for. The key punch is pretty solid and it looks great on my desk with the color scheme.- Comes with additional mechnical switches to replace if needed and a keycap puller.- Set up is easy and can switch between using Bluetooth or USB receiver with a switch at the bottom of the keyboard. Also has a switch to turn it on and off.- Last pretty long before needing to recharge.- The wristrest is nice and magnetic enough to hold and not too strong where it makes it a pain to remove. The cost worth what you get.

Most KlickKlackey Keyboard out there
I love this keyboard, has the perfect amount of Click Clacks (The noise while typing). Connection is easy, just plug in a usb, the keyboard has tons of customization options, can change the color, change the volume of computer, can change color gradiant, Feels nice and like an expensive keyboard. My wife keeps trying to steel my keyboard for herself.

Fantastic keyboard! But the RK-S98 just functions better
So new keyboard at the top and the one I'm returning at the bottom. I'm currently in the process of putting all the keycaps back. I much prefer the aesthetics of the keyboard I'm returning (RK-96) over the new one (RK-S98) which frustrates me because I'm keeping the new one for the fact that it is truly customizable in the software. I can even edit what happens to each key after holding the function key! and I can add a second function key with a whole other layer of commands to every single key on the board! And when I twist the knob to change the volume on the computer it actually changes the volume! The RK-96 has that scroll wheel for volume but after a certain amount of time of doing nothing the keyboard will turn off and that scroll wheel won't wake it up. On the (RK-S98) turning the knob will wake it up and then change the volume. Also the key switches on the RK-S98 are better than on the RK-96. they're more resistive and quieter.

Great mechanical keyboard...one year later (update)
Edit: See below for original review. This paragraph is a one-year update. Keyboard has been mostly flawless since I received the replacement, but the battery now lasts about a week. I had returned my original RK keyboard because it did not hold a charge, and this one was good most of the year, but now I have to plug it in weekly. Again, not a major thing since it's on a desktop PC, but I have a Logitech K780 from 2021 that I have only had to replace the (non-rechargeable) batteries a couple times. I know rechargeable batteries do not have a long shelf life, but I was hoping for two to three years before I had to leave it constantly plugged in.The first one I received would not hold a charge. RK worked with me to troubleshoot but it was just a bad battery. They easily replaced it and the new one is perfect. I would not recommend it for gaming because it does not always register my keystrokes, but I really like it all around. (I still use it for gaming but I notice sometimes I hit a key and it doesn’t respond.) I don’t like that the lighting is behind the keys which can obscure the white writing on the keyboard. Makes it harder to see the keys. Would have like lit up letters on the keyboard. Volume control works great. Many lighting patterns if you’re into that kind of thing. Heavy and seems well made. Nice wrist rest. Overall nice keyboard

Nice weight and features!
Note: I purchased a key caps set (https://a.co/d/6e7NoP6) to go with this keyboardI bought this keyboard for the customization of the light effects. I haven't played around with the true customization because there are so many options pre-built in. The brightness is good, though harder to see under the bright fluorescent lighting at my job than when I was unboxing at home. This keyboard is heavier than I expected which makes it feel higher quality! I love that the wrist rest is magnetic.I'm new to the custom keyboard world so I wasn't sure what the different mechanical switch colors meant. The yellow mechanical switches on this keyboard are linear (instead of tactile) and are kind of loud for work so I'll be buying silent switches to change out. They are smooth and have a good resistance, but I could see them resulting in accidental button presses for gamers. The *click* at the end is reminiscent of a typewriter. It isn't unpleasant to me but I don't want to irritate the various learners I'm expected to precept in my office.I am very satisfied with my purchase! Would buy again!
