La Cafetière has been a known brand for years, so was excited to get a chance to try this. I have been drinking instant coffee for mths due to my old no name brand breaking. I was glad to have this to replace and get back to drinking "proper" coffee again. The look of this is so stylish and really nice looking. Although most items in my kitchen is red, blue is my favourite colour and I was still happy to have it.I do feel a bit let down by this though. I wish there were marking to indicate how many cups or ml but, I just pour the water in a mug first then add to this. a tiny hassle. I did notice though, when I washed this, that water was seeping in under the coating on the outside and I think this is a big let down as I believe this will diminish some life of the product and I am afraid if this starts to smell or go mouldy as it will be near impossible to clean under this. In the meantime, I will enjoy this.

We have cafetieres in several different sizes but non of them is as big as this.It looks amazing with it's navy blue colour and light brown handly.It works effortlessly and can be put on the table without any problems. It will look like a designer piece.I am very happy with this product and I gladly recommend it to anyone.

This was fine for a month or so. Then the handle became increasingly loose and therefore dangerous. It is impossible to tighten. The handle quickly became discoloured and the varnish peeled off.Now recycled.Do not buy, if you do will be disappointed very quickly.

Nice looking and works well but the handle works loose after a while and there is no way to tighten it again. The relevant screw heads are behind the glass insert and this cannot be removed in order to gain access to the screws. Once the handle works loose, it is no longer safe to use this product even though it is otherwise perfectly serviceable.
