GOLD N HOT Ionic Stand Bonnet Dryer

10/10 shoppp had it for years!

This thing is AMAZING!!It stands just fine, doesn't seem top heavy to me. Maybe people are assembling this thing wrong, however it does go up pretty high so maybe that could be a problem. I kept mine low because I'm sitting in a chair.Its light and easy to pick up to move around or roll. If you are a curly girl and sick of drying time this thing works like a charm. The air seems to blow downwards and gets nice and toasty.I never leave a review but I over-thought this item so thought I'd share, JUST GET IT!

I have had the dryer about 6 weeks now, and use it about once a week.What I like:It gets hot enough, but not too hot. I can expect my hair to be dry in about half an hour. Air drying takes about 3 hours. I like that there are a few heat and speed settings.The bonnet is nice and big, with an adjustable screen in front. If I put rollers in my hair, they fit with no problem.Easy assembly. Putting the dryer together was very fast and simple.What I don’t like:The pin that hold the bonnet on the pole appears to be a weak point in the construction design. I made sure to follow the assembly instructions exactly to help ensure the most secure fit, and I have not had an issue yet. But, I will certainly not be surprised if I there is one at some point.While there is a movable screen on the bonnet, it would be nice if the bonnet, itself, were moveable via a hinge point. I can move it up and down using the pole, but that’s not so feasible for simply getting under it and out from under it. It would be nice to not have to scrunch down to do those things. It’s certainly not a big deal. Just something that would be a nice touch.All in all, the dryer is working out for my home needs, so I give it 4 stars at this point.

My wife loves this dryer. It is top heavy, and the power cord becomes very warm with use. I do believe the power cord is not the proper gauge for the wattage used, but you can replace the existing cord with a 12 gauge cord.

I've had this dryer for about a year, still works perfectly. It did get a bit louder after the first use but its louder under the dryer than outside of it. Gets really hot. I use it to mold my hair, dry wigs, and do roller/rod sets. The front can be lifted up or pulled down. Sometimes its hard to adjust the height but it’s doable.

I loved this dryer at first, it worked beautifully on my curly hair. The setting are excellent and its easy to move around. But within one month, like many others, the piece that secures the heavy bonnet to the stand started to split. It is now completely broken and the bonnet will not attach. So unless you want to hold the heavy bonnet, look elsewhere. I called the company and was told they could not help me, I would need to purhase a new unit, as the piece that broke is no replaceable.

This dryer works fine ( although there’s no medium heat, just low and hi and gets really hot can be much, medium should of been available for price of this dryer,cheaper ones even have 3 settings choice), however the problem is with its construction needs to be improved.The plastic construction that connects the dryer head to the neck of the pole is not durable at all.I was careful with it and that piece cracked.Needs to be made of a much stronger plastic or material.I had to wrap it in electric tape to keep it from further cracking or completely breaking apart then it will be of no longer use/waste of money as I just recently purchase and used only twice. I think as another reviewer stated that the head is too heavy,I absolutely agree,but had the connecting plastic piece been steel or better quality, would been just fine for my use (roller sets), if I didn’t recycle the box I would have sent back!

Love that it keeps my curls intact unlike blow drying. Super easy to put together. So far, so good!!!
