Open Comm 2
Great for voice calls, anything spoken word like podcast's etc...Execllent noise canceling microphone so that your voice is heard clearly with minimal background noise. Comforatble to wear and will stay on your head unlike the Open Meet. Lightweight. Nothing over your ears or in your ears. No more ear fatigue. Battery last all day. Great for working in a call center environment or for working from home if you need a good comfortable 8 hour a day headset then the Shokz OpenComm2 is your solid choice. Better than Open Meet in my opinion when it comes to comfort and these not slipping off of your head. I did not buy these to use for music I have multiple sets of audiophile quality headphones and in ear monitors for music listening. I did not expect these to sound good with music at all but was a little surprised when I did test them with music and they weren't as bad as I thought they would be. I have to say I am reall impressed by the call quality and the fact that they are so light weight ou hardly notice them. The Open Comm 2 has become my go to headset at my home office for teams meetings, zoom meetings, making or taking calls the Open Comm are hard to beat. They aren't cheap, but you get what you pay for as they say. If you are a truck driver, work from home or work in a call center you should take a look at the Open Comm 2.

These are not audiophile quality headphones, but they are excellent for calls and meetings
I've tested the OpenRun headset at a major sporting goods outlet on several occasions. I found them to be very comfortable with decent sound quality. A few months ago my work headset started to fail so I began researching a replacement. I wear this headset a minimum of 9 hours a day, sometimes 6 days a week, so I needed a comfortable headset. I also had to take into account my wearing hearing aids. Regular headsets don't work well with hearing aids, so this made my search even more difficult. When I began my search, I didn't know that Shokz had a headset with a microphone, it didn't take me long to find out they did. At first I was a little hesitant to drop $200 dollars on them not knowing how they would perform for my work needs, but I eventually gave in when my Jabra headset refused to hold a charge for more than an hour. 2 days later they arrived. I immediately tested these with my PC. I found they have a decent quality sound, same as the OpenRun. Let me point out that these are in no way comparable to any high end, audiophile quality headphones. The sound is good, but if you are a music snob, these aren't for you. The highs and lows are very good, but I find the mid range a little muddy. They are still good enough to stream music while working or working out, but they do not compare to the sound of any high end headphones or speakers. Several reviewers found the lows uncomfortable. Yes, certain sounds in the low frequencies will cause an uncomfortable feeling where these meet your head. This was most evident when receiving a call, the ring tone sometimes is almost painful. This is the one point that I dislike about them, they have a default ring tone that I have yet to figure out how to change, it's Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries. Now I like this tune as much as anyone, but when your entire skull vibrates, you are very quick to answer that call. I'd love to be able to change to a less intense tune as well as find a way to adjust it's volume. I could handle the tune if the volume were a bit lower, but the only way I have found to do that is to turn the headset volume down, but then hearing well on some calls becomes difficult. So overall I would say the quality of the product seems excellent, they are very comfortable, they work well with hearing aids, and the sound quality is very good. Again, not audiophile quality, but still very good for the average person. They beat out earbuds and most work quality, closed headphones in all of these areas. 9 out of 10, would buy again and have already recommended these to several of my coworkers who also have hearing aids.

Game-Changer for Work and Everyday Use
I absolutely love my Shokz UC headphones! I use them daily for work on my PC with Microsoft Teams, and they also pair easily with my iPhone for music and audiobooks. The open-ear design is a game-changer—I can stay aware of what’s going on around me while still clearly hearing audio. Whether I'm in a meeting or listening to something, I no longer get startled when someone walks up behind me in the office. The battery life is excellent—they last a long time between charges—and they’re super comfortable to wear for hours at a time. The only downside is that they’re not ideal for lying down in bed, but with a little adjustment, you can make it work. Overall, they're a great mix of comfort, awareness, and quality.

Great head unit
I got this back in December 2024 as an early Christmas gift to myself to use for work since I spend a lot of time on the road and around heavy machinery. I first learned about this from a tri-axle driver and he raved a lot about it to me since he sees me using ear buds and I have to try to walk away from all the noise when on business calls. My impressions about it first try.. It's comfortably light. It's been 5 months now and most of the time I don't even notice I have it on just like wearing my glasses.I like the fact that I can still hear my surroundings unlike wearing ear buds. Even with a noisy environment, you can clearly hear and whoever you are talking to can hear you clearly thanks to the noise canceling.Battery life is really good. On normal daily use I can get 3 days per charge.Reason I only gave it a 4 out of 5 is because of the discomfort during the winter. Thanks to the hard loop that goes around the back of your head, it is uncomfortable if you're wearing a beanie, balaclava or a hood during the cold months. The headset ends up pushing to the back if my ear and by the end of the day the back if my ear is sore. Other than that, it's comforting. It doesn't interfere with anything when I wear just a hat or hard hat.I wish the loop can be softer. I want to get the model without the back loop but I don't know how well it will work on calls. This one, if you have the boom mic along the height of your eyes it sounds like you're talking from across the room. So seeing that the individual ear type doesn't have a boom mic, I'm on the fence about getting it.Overall, it is a great and comfortable unit. I'm in the construction field and it has been very durable. Sweating isn't an issue for it unlike the ear buds which after a while will pop out due to the sweat. So, if you don't have to wear a face/head covering to keep your head warm during the winter, this will be an excellent head unit.
