the cold makes it so that you can use it cold if you're trying to reduce inflammation.it comes with a cloth pouch to put in, which is convenient.i'm not sure about the little hole in the metal. it makes it seem kind of incomplete. i know it's probably for a hanging string, but since it comes with a drawstring pouch, i find that unnecessary. i bet if you put a loop in there for hanging, it'll get caught up when you're using the tool.

This Gua sha is large, and comes with a soft carrying bag. I like that it keeps a cool temperature, which helps with my inflammation. It also helps with my headaches. I wish the guide was a little more detailed, I would have liked suggestions on how to use it.

Five stars for being exactly what it says it is. It's a smooth piece of metal with various contours to run along your face. The material is shiny but marks up easily with skin oils. There is a dedicated hole if you want to attach it to a lanyard.All of the contours are smooth; there isn't anything that snags.It's cold to the touch because it is metal.
