These tyres came fitted to an e-bike and looked, superficially like they were truly tough stuff. After only 135 kilometres the rear punctured. The cause of the puncture was a microscopic, truly tiny thorn that had penetrated the tyre. On removing the tyre from the rim I discovered that the base material of the tyre (the casing that the knobbly bits are attached to) was about as thick as cigarette paper. Completely useless to keep out those tiny sharp little critters that lie in wait to spoil your ride. These tyres are going to be replaced with a brand which are famous not only for tyres but also for racy calendars.

52km into the first ride on these and they failed catastrophically on a gravel fire road, really really disappointed and pissed odd as was mikes from anywhere and needed to walk out... I’ve ridden thousand and thousand of miles over the years and never had a failure like this... AVOID at all costs.Pros: good grip and rolled well

If you have chunky classic types switch to these or other gravel tyres for City, pavement,road, dirt and glass's rides.So so much faster and more comfortable.Can really feel the corners and gives massive confidence with consistent grip.Would and will buy again.Buy with confidence.
