Maps Activity Pad: 1 (Pads) Paperback – 1 Nov. 2017

These have now become a regular part of our weekly learning activities with my 7 year old home educated son. After receiving this I recently purchased another map book by the same author.The illustrations are bright, fun and highly detailed. The content of the maps is extremely varied as well - from Antarctica through to finding a camping spot on a map with towns, hills, walking tracks and bridges.They help to introduce him to map reading using a key, scale and compass in a fun way. The mazes help with developing hand eye co-ordination, memory, forward planning and patience.

Brought for my 7 yr old grandson. He loves it. Good for learning about maps and many other skills, inc geography, history, observation and ecology. Tear off sheets mean you can do as an activity with more than one child at a time and create a bit of competition!Very clear pages. Some maps based on real places, some fictional.For the price and what you get, I think this is one of the best value activities for learning for children age 6-10. ........I learnt quite a lot of interesting facts too!!

Really lovely activity pad. Full of different maps for different levels of ability. Originally bought for my map loving 4 year old but some of the pages are also great for my 7 year old. Great illustrations, lots to look at and do on each page. Would definately buy this again.

My 4 year ld Grandson really enjoyed this map book. Pages can easily be torn to use singularly if preferred. It is very educational e.g. he soon learned about the leaning tower of Pisa and different countries of the world.

Amazing 'look and find quiz' book. Bought it for my 4 year old but she's just a bit young. 5/6yrs onwards it will be fab. It's ready and waiting......

Always good quality with Usborne. Great for my 8 year old who could do a lot on their own. 5 year old needed a fair bit of support.
