You are getting a salon quality straightener at an unbelievable price. The straightener is very easy to use, and I especially like the stand to set the straightener on. I use it on both my own hair and wigs and it performs beautifully. I have to warn users ⚠️ that the straightener can get extremely hot and if you have thin/fine hair I recommend starting on lower settings and increasing gradually until you find the heat setting for your type of hair and style you want to achieve. The only thing I don't like about the straightener is that it takes awhile to cool down, I would recommend using the stand at all times. I give this straightener 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I was skeptical after reading the reviews but I took a chance and purchase anyway. The hot comb works just great for me. It goes up to 430 degrees. It does get really hot. I did turn it to a set number and then kept turning it up every 2 minutes since that seemed to everyone’s issue. Used it on my wig and had no problems. Not sure why the reviews are so negative.

So I saw the reviews and was a little hesitant. (I had low expectations, tbh) but it does get HOT! It takes a while to heat all the way and you have to gradually turn up the temperature. I used it to press my mom's natural hair the other night (she has a 3C, 4A texture) and it did straighten her hair. However, it doesn't get the roots like a traditional straightening comb. Gets very hot! Comes with its own stand and all. Very impressed and would buy again!

This Frankenstein's monster is not what I ordered. The plastic/rubber appendages @ either end of the comb are completely unnecessary. There's no reason to put your hand on the comb, are a snagging hazard, & are a barrier betwixt the barrel of the comb & the root. What happens when you heat metal? It moves, so adding the teeth rather than forming them from the barrel as one piece creates another snagging hazard. I don't want to rip my hair out or anyone elses. The temp dial & the On&Off switch on the handle is problematic too, because it makes it very easy to change the temp or turn it off while working w/out even knowing it. But these features being down on the cord is from an earlier design, & I didn't expect from the pic or description to be receiving that model. The only plus is the seperation of the kickstand, which used to constantly swing down in the way whilst trying to work. Though a workable problem compared to these unworkable major design flaws.

I'm so happy and relieved to have found this product. Love that I'm able to regulate the heat, and I keep it on the 10 o'clock position of the dial. It has a thoughtful on/off switch. Also super nice is that the cord is flexible at the base, where it turns as you turn the comb so that the cord never tangles.Though my hair isn't curly, it's thin and tends to be flighty if I don't smooth it out with ionizing hair brush or comb, and this ionizing comb leaves my hair smooth & silky. I also color my hair, so my hair is susceptible to burning if the appliance heat can't be regulated like this one can. This comb comes with a cute stand to set it up in a handy spot. It doesn't come with a heat-resistant glove, so I kept my glove from another product.
