Works perfectly for my uses.
Ordered this cable to connect my RTX 2080 Ti to my BenQ EL2870U monitor. Haven't experienced any issues so far and it does seem like this cable is need using the Displayport 1.4 standard, 4K works fine as you would expect from any Displayport cable and HDR works flawlessly. Not exactly cheap but it does the job and it's built rather well.
