Very pleased Mac User - And Some Tips on Formatting as APFS with Encryption
I bought this USB drive to back up the most important files on my Mac. I've attached it to my keychain and carry it with me, knowing that if something awful happens to my Mac in my apartment while I'm away--such as a fire or a robbery--I'll still have a copy of my most important files. (I also back up some files to the cloud, though not everything). As a side note: I use a free backup application for Mac called SmartBackup with this drive and it works well. Also, less than a week after buying this drive, I was in Best Buy. One of the sales people was helping me with something and took out his keys--and on his keychain was this very same drive!I did have one issue with this drive at first. It comes formatted as a FAT32 drive. I wanted to reformat it as an APFS drive (the format that Apple now uses for SSD drives) so I could password protect the drive. I couldn't figure out how to do it using Apple's Disk Utility application, so I had to call Kingston for support. The person at Kingston thought maybe there was a bug in macOS that wouldn't let me format the drive as APFS. So I was stumped. But then I found a webpage that gave instructions on how to do it. So the person at Kingston was wrong. I was able to format the drive as APFS with encryption (password protection) and now it's working just how I wanted it to work. Here are the instructions I found to reformat the drive as APFS with encryption using Disk Utility:Choose “Show All Devices” from View MenuClick Erase buttonUnder “Scheme:” choose “GUID Partition Map”Then in the pulldown just above for “Format:” you can now choose APFS variantsThe other notes I have about this drive:It does get hot. After backing up my files using SmartBackup, which so far has taken between 30 minutes to an hour, and ejecting the drive, the drive feels hot to the touch, though it cools pretty quickly. The drive doesn't have a cap or a way to shield the opening, so twice I've found lint from my pants pocket sticking into the drive. I was able to easily remove the lint both times, but I've become a little paranoid, so I constantly check the drive to make sure there's no lint sticking into it.

Great storage device...
I'm a computer novice (that is if novice means I can use them but don't really understand them) so when I bought this thumb drive I was reading everybody else's reviews to see if it would work for me. I'm only using this for a storage device and mostly just photos and word processing documents, but I had a smaller thumb drive that was reaching its capacity and needed an upgrade. I had bought a cheaper version on another website and it was a pain in the butt to copy my files (took hours and hours) and then eventually they all disappeared. I still don't know what happened with that one but I guess you really do get what you pay for and I at least knew this was a better brand. I was so frustrated with my last purchase, but after reading other reviews and asking around, I took a chance with this one. First of all, the little thumb drive is very attractive - okay, I'm a girl and that mattered to me. I didn't like my other plastic one and wanted something that had less slides to push and just something sleek. It's small and has a nice brushed nickel finish. But better than that it only took about 30 minutes to transfer all of my files from my prior thumb drive to this one and it's been running just fine ever since. I did use the key ring from the cheaper version because this one definitely needs a little something so that I can hang it on my bulletin board or make it easier to remove from the computer, but other than that, this one should last me a long long time and it's definitely the best one I've purchased. It arrived quickly (beware of those that are coming from afar - that's where my cheaper one came from and it was a piece o' junk) and I couldn't be happier.

PERFECT ALL METAL BODY DRIVE, GREAT KEY RING HOLE SIZE
bought this for work, use it constantly, i will never trust USB drive that have the metal plug and the plastic body, as I have accidentally hit the drive while plugged in and bent it to destruction losing all my files. This whole solid metal body is both strong and stylish, looks great on my keys, and it is also hard to find metal drives that actually have a decent size hole to hang it on things. I hate the other models that have small holes, why do they make them like that??? This model is perfect, USB3.0 makes it fast too. UPDATE 11/11/19.. WANTED TO ADD THAT I HAVE BEEN USING THESE DRIVES FOR YEARS (BOUGHT MANY) AND THEY DO NOT SEEM TO WORK IN LENOVO USB PORTS...not sure why... I can put the drive into a USB extender connected into the lenovo port and it works fine, I think it is the shape of the port and not having any of those little holes on it to be detected by port.

Will not connect in all USB Ports!
Let me just say that I am a computer repair technician. I use this flash drive with multiple ISO's installed for installing different version of Windows and Linux as well as diagnostics. I'll keep this short. Pros: It fits well on a key ring/chain, it is sturdy and light-weight, It has good transfer speeds. Con: It will not fit all USB ports. This is disappointing as it will not fit some port, I should say that it does insert, but will not connect. I am not sure why this is, but on these ports it can work if a lot of pressure is applied in a downward fashion to allow the pins to connect inside the port. This is not recommended nor should this even be happening. I thought the price was good and it is an aesthetically pleasing design so I will not return it. I will just use it on devices that it connects to. Since it doe have this issue I would not highly recommend this drive as it could be frustrating if you are using it to transfer files to and from various computers. It will not connect to my Lenovo Thinkpads at all!
