PNY CS900 1TB 3D NAND 2.5" SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) - (SSD7CS900-1TB-RB)

I had an old laptop that I was able to install Windows 11 on using a utility…supposedly the CPU wasn’t supported. While it was faster than the old Windows 10 it was still painfully slow. Got this SSD and did a clone of the HDD. Very easy to install and along with a RAM upgrade the laptop works well and is much faster. I have used PNY products before and was always happy with them. I could have bought more expensive SSDs but this works and I didn’t want to invest a lot on an old laptop that really doesn’t get used that much.

I have a new Windows 11 PC. It was a refurbished HP, very fast and 20k ram. I took it to my computer tech. The SSD was not the best brand, so I bought 2 of these and my tech guy said they were good quality. I have the 1 gig SSD and 2 of these 1 gig SSDs for backup and extra storage. Now my new PC is a beast of a machine that my Windows 10 was.

I placed this in an older 27” HP All-in-one with mismatched RAM (8GB SKHynix 2666, 4GB Micron 2700) with 32 (2x16) GB of 19-19-19-43 Crucial RAM.The PNY flies! It replaced a WD Rust Spinner and everything feels like a responsive, efficient system. The RAM upgrade keeps it from bottlenecking with the i7-8700T and I’m running web development on WSL2. This drive outperforms any platter drive, and WSL installs and handles containers much better now. I know there are faster options, but this one is extremely fast per dollar and meets or exceeds all advertised speeds. I approve!

A great drive at a great price. I have used several of these to upgrade or replace dead or smaller drives. Very reliable and silent. Interface is perfect and speed is always great. This one resurrected my Mother in laws computer in about two hours. Next day delivery too!

Purchased this to replace a hard drive in my desktop system. Also purchased a mounting bracket to install in a 3.5" bay. Installed easily. Computer runs much faster.

Worked well and replaced the original old pc hard drive. No issues with the swap. Definitely sped the old PC up.
