Reliable Charger That Works Well with Other Brands
This EBL LCD Rechargeable Battery Charger has worked perfectly with my Tenergy brand C and D batteries, which was exactly what I needed. The LCD screen is clear and informative, letting me know the charging status at a glance. It recognizes each battery individually, so you can mix different sizes and charge them at the same time without any confusion.Build quality feels solid, and the charging process is consistent and efficient. I haven't noticed any overheating or issues, and it seems gentle enough on the batteries to prolong their lifespan.Overall, a dependable charger with great compatibility and a useful display. If you're using rechargeable batteries regularly, this is a smart investment.

Workes just fine.
I needed to charge my new D cell batteries. This 8 battery charger worked just fine. The duel screen is easy to read. Two types of ports are convenient. I especially liked the length of the cord. Not too long, or short. This charger does what it's supposed to.

Seems to be working good so far, when it wants to
Been using the old Sanyo NC-MQN06 charger that came with the Eneloops which was working fine for things like Xbox and other remotes that use 2 batteries. But it's not so good for other things that use 1, 3 or more than 4 batteries, so have been wanting to get a charger that handles more than 4 and can charge individually.Looked at a bunch of different chargers and settled on 3 different ones that had a progress display instead of a flashing light as that seems way more useful (and it is). This one won out because it was on sale and cost less than the others, and it seemed like the ability to charge with a USB charger would make it more versatile for a power source (instead of needing to be plugged into an outlet, can use any USB power source that can supply 2A).This comes with the charger, a micro USB cable (the charger also has a USB-C connector) and a manual. You have to supply a 2A or better power supply, I had a SPN5970A (3A) that I wasn't using for phone charging anymore so used it.First checked to make sure all 8 slots worked and they did. Then loaded it up with 8 batteries, a mix of AA and AAA batteries. I kinda like the spring loaded bar for the negative terminal, makes it easy to insert and remove batteries. The positive terminal works good too, the alignment needs to be fairly straight for charging but it's easy to adjust.I've charged a lot of batteries so far, only issue is one of the fairly new PowerOwl AAA batteries wouldn't charge as the charger gave an error message. I tried all 8 slots and same error message. So I plugged it into the old Sanyo along with another AAA battery and it seemed fine. After around an hour or so I removed it and put it back in this charger and there was no error and it finished charging the battery. So not sure what the issue was, it wasn't totally discharged or anything, but it had been sitting for a few months since the last charge. It didn't have an issue with it's companion battery though so must just be something with this one. What it does tell me is I need to keep the old Sanyo around just in case this happens again.I haven't tried timing how long it takes to charge batteries so can't really comment on that, plus never timed how long it would take with the Sanyo so nothing to compare to. It really depends on how discharged the batteries are anyways. The display has a limited viewing angle, I had it flat on a table and found that having either the left or right side facing towards me made it easier to view it from an angle instead of having to look straight on if the front side was facing me. The display is illuminated. There are no holes on the case for wall mounting so you'd have to rig up something yourself if you wanted to do that.

Having a battery charger in a natural disaster. It's price and quality.
Excellent product at a good price, comes with basic easy to read manual. Charges eight batteries at a time and is designed to take about three sizes of batteries. I also bought an 8 pack of AA batteries from the same company-they hold their charge and no more throw away batteries. You should buy one too, you'll need it in a natural disaster.

Incredibly poor manufacturing design and "engineering".
Incredibly poor manufacturing design and "engineering".After spending wayyy too much time to finally get JUST TWO brand new D-cell batteries (Amazon Basics) to even START the charging process, I realized that even after trying out various USB wall-warts of various current ratings, that this product was simply a piece of junk. There's no way that the charging station accepted 4 batteries even though they were BRAND NEW rechargeable batteries right out of the box. The charging station would only charge 2 at a time(!), AND, it took 5 hours to charge those 2 batteries. The jpg shown here shows that immediately after charging the already pre-charged batteries (out of the box), that the charger had major design flaws. The image shown flashed on and off once/second. When the batteries were charged, the displays would read "Charge", with full bars. Of course all 4 displays should have read "Charged", not "Charge" like it did. (Actually the displays read "Chg", PLUS, the bars should have been FULL bars.)
