I recently upgraded my desk to a large L shaped standing desk so that I would have plenty of workspace for hobbies, graphic design work, and other projects to my side. I installed an overhead camera mount, but unfortunately to position of my overhead can lights cast noticeable shadows on anything I photographed even with smaller additional side lights to minimize the issue. This light has fixed that issue entirely while also providing an excellent source of light for any projects requiring detailed work like folding, cutting, painting, and repairing electronics. I thought I might need a second one, but one is more than enough for my needs. It easily overpowers my ceiling can lights and provides plenty of light at my workspace even when all the other lights in my room are off.That being said, I do have a few minor gripes with the product. Firstly, I dislike the remote. It’s at a weird location and there is no provided way to mount it out of the box. I have taken some Velcro straps and attached it to the pole and that has been fairly functional if not slightly unsightly due to all the visible cables. My second gripe is how the cable is permanently attached to the LED, I would have liked to see this be a removable USB cable or something of the sort.This is not a gripe, but rather a wish. I hope that a future iteration of the product will fix the above gripes while also providing some kind of support for RGB. If this supported RGB, it would open up a ton of extra flexibility for photography and instantly give me enough justification to buy multiple with the purpose of playing with light in my shots. I wouldn't mind paying a premium for these extra features.Overall, this is a great hobby light for a work bench and would work well as a key, rim, or back light as well due to its adjustable brightness settings. I could see myself getting a second one for my garage workbench at some point in the future.

I saw reviews that were positive on this item and I gave it a chance. A little in doubt I bought two I really only needed one. They were perfect for podcasting video conferencing even a lamp in a different room because I use it for all above and having to just gives me more options

I bought this for my husband. He works remote and needed better lighting in his office. For reference; his office has 4 windows; so there is a lot of natural light already coming into the room. However, the way his desk is set up; it created a shadow on half of his face, during video meetings for him. He tried using a tall floor lamp we already had in the room; but that did not work. This ring lamp works well for him due to the adjustment options for movement & brightness levels. I am giving 4 stars because he mentioned the light does produce some heat & this was really the only downside to it. Overall the ring lamp has provided what he needed; which was his face to not have a shadow during meetings. He has 2 large computer screens; side by side; on his desk and has the light positioned in the middle behind the screens.

This was super easy to put up and use. I keep it behind my computer screen to help illuminate myself more during work calls. It doesn't hurt my eyes and it helps make it easier for my coworkers to see me. I can move it from side to side easily if needed.

Using this light for a couple months already. Tried couple different options - perfect choice to light face during meetings. and light workplace for work with electronics. Lights is very soft and pleasant to eyes. Easy to setup, Controls - works well for me.Color temperature - using cold one during meetings, and warm for work during evenings.Great value, recommended to a couple of friends already

Absolutely what I ordered. It works perfect for my TikTok Live program. I was going to get two but I’m glad I only bought one because one is so bright works absolutely great, I didn’t need two! I would recommend it 100%.
