Price, quality and ease of installation make these a very good buy. Remove about 14mm of wire sheathing, twist copper, loosen screws on plugs, insert wire into plug. Try to center the wire if it's not a thicker gauge and then tighten back screw and then front screw and then tighten down to keep them nice and secure. Place the metal cover and screw it onto the threads and finger tighten. NOW the issue I had was they are very hard to push into the receptacles. I was worried at first but with some pressure they popped into the channel. After you understand this you'll have no issue pressuring them into place. Having them tight is actually a good thing but unless you have some strange devices they will go into the standard plugs. Really nice set at a great price. Who cares what the name of the product is? It works well and at a good price.

Great quality these work very well and look very nice they are durable the wire secures tightly and the plugs fit in securely as well with no wiggle at all over all these plugs were easy to use and work very well

After having used several less than stellar flex and banana plugs I was really pleased with the design and quality of these. I’ll be ordering more. Well machined, screws worked fine and secured the Amazon 16g Bronze speaker wire, an excellent cable, without issue. Let me share an important fact with some younger audiophiles that may be falling into the high dollar trap of monster cable and wire, particularly when dealing with vintage audio equipment, I’m 70 years old and have been playing with all of this since it was released: NONE of the top manufacturers specified anything larger than 16 gauge and that was rare. Typically they didn’t specify anything. Back then there was nothing but copper anyway.16 gauge copper, not aluminum clad has always been sufficient for great audio reproduction. None of the original terminals were designed to accept anything larger than #14 and you’ll struggle with that gauge on some equipment. “Oxygen free” makes me laugh. After spending a lifetime in the electrical trade all conductive cable is oxygen free when it is clad. Anyway, great plugs. Hope this helps save someone some expense and grief.

The screwed connections worked well for 16awg wire, but the plugs would not fit into the terminals on my amp or my speakers. Since I was unwilling to use enough force to push them in, I used needle nose pliers to reduce the diameter of the plugs. They are still plenty tight in the terminals without having to force them in. I have used other banana style plugs before and have never had this issue.

These speaker wire plugs are high quality and recomend them.Now they are tight when you insert them into your amp but can be adjusted to be smaller or larger by pushing the spline in for smaller or pushing the end for larger by hand.The easiest way is to strip the wire the entire depth of the end and unscrew both retainer screws till it is flush on the inside.Use a correct size screwdriver and insert the wire to the insulation is just before the screw and tighten till flush then tighten the other screw till flush.Now you can put the cover on and make sure the red are all the same wire that connect to the red terminal on the speaker.Some people say they don't fit but they do, others say they break easy but they are to be held by hand not channelocks. Every thing is hand tight and you don't need to remove the set screws on the end, they are very small and not the easiest to get back in.They make a big difference.
