Useful for weighing spices but are not kitchen scales for macro ingredients.
I was impressed by the shiny, gold look. (Bit like a magpie!)But I was needing new scales as I didn't look after my old set.Weighing accuracy is good and can be re-calibrated using the supplied weight.They are small but excellent for getting precise weights. No one wants to overdo flavours..I thought the little tray was a nice touch. It makes sense. Plus it's easy to wipe clean after use.Overall, very content with this tool and it is easily stored when not in use.

Good sensitive scales at a great price
Very happy with these scales, 10x better resolution at 1mg, rather than the 10mg commonly found. Just what I needed for establishing dosage of home-filled pills, but also good for many other things that must be weighed accurately. Calibration should always be performed at the start of each use on a stable level surface, particularly with scales of this resolution.Beware of draughts though. I originally wondered why the measurement was jumping around, until I realised it was our cooling fan, on VERY low, the opposite side of the room. It really is that sensitive!A welcome touch is the calibrator weight stored with the scales in the neat hardcase.

They work perfectly but feel very cheap.
Quite a nasty finish. You do get a pouring disk for your spices which is nice but otherwise I donโt like them.

This Does The Job
if you want a milligram scale this is the one for you easy to setup and use. just spend that little bit more for something that works, put the calibration weight on and off you go that simple.weighing seems very precise for me even to the point that if you blow on the scale it will register it.it can at times be a bit temperamental, but when your weighing down to the Mg level you may experience a very small fluctuation if not reset each time.i would recommend it, for the price a well worth buy.

Not good
Not very good returned it, had to keep calibrating it,, items never weighed the same +/- 1.5g.
