The contents of this Make Your Own Lava Lamp were varied and contained enough to redesign the lamp several times. This version is safe for kids and is a fun activity. Nice to use as a low light lamp.We were able to also find battery operated glitter versions of the Original Lava Lamp that we can display with our own creations!

This product was a huge waste of money and oil. Poorly made and works once. My girls were so excited about it turned out to be such a disappointment. You’re better off just buying an electric one.

My daughter really loved making the lava lamp but it only lasted a few min. Within 15 minutes the stuff that makes it bubble was done and now it’s just a weird lamp with very little light and dirty looking water/oil. Also, the light doesn’t work every time. Overall it seems like a waste of $20 and oil for 5 min of enjoyment.

It looks great, fun. A Christmas present for our grandson.

When the ingredients were mixed for the "lava" they don't ever blob up & down.

This was by far my worst buy in many years! It doesn’t work- even tried a 2nd set of batteries! Kids can’t do all of the stickers without messing it up and ruining them (and this is supposed to be for kids to do). Also, no matter how many times we wipe it, it is oily when you touch it. Ugly, doesn’t work, and a waste of money!

What a fun way for kids and families to create their own Lava Lamps! Some opportunity for discussing science in there as well. The kit comes with some fun decorations and stickers, but you can also use your own! Glad we got this!
