I was a little unsure about getting them at first, but they were great on the concrete. The grip helps my almost two-year-old hold on without causing her hands to be too dirty. But if your child throws them, they will pop apart. They are great to use and work well. It erases well with just water. And I also love the color variety.

This is a great idea, but does not work on my Melissa and Doug easel… unless you have to have a special chalkboard, the eraser does not erase the chalk at all… I had to wet the eraser that was given and with a lot of elbow grease it came off… There’s no way a child could do it… Ended up using a magic eraser, which didn’t work much better… Stick with regular chalk!

I will purchase again. They so far havent broken and pen quality very good. The ease of use for my two year old and 5 year old is amazing and the functionality of the chalk was amazing as well.

This is maybe great for outdoors because it was definitely not great for inside chalk boards. I have this 2 in 1 chalkboard and dry erase board for my 2 year old. When purchasing these, I liked from the start that it was a twist option and my toddler was not going to get his hands dirty. But appearance wise they are cute and it looks like they’ll be perfect. But when using them, I noticed I couldn’t erase the chalk board. It still showed what I had drawn in the board even with a wet cloth. They did paint nice but it almost felt like it wasn’t chalk and I was writing with a crayon. It didn’t look like chalk at all. I believe for the price, I expected something better quality. I was better off with cheap chalk.

I love the idea of these, the colors are just very faint and don't pop as expected. They wash off well for me with a wet paper towel, I know other reviews mention they do not. I have had a few break pretty easily. But for the cost they get the job done!

Bought this for my classroom art center. The kids love them. Very vibrant colors without the mess of chalk. It wipes off easily with a wet cloth or wet wipe. It didn’t wipe off with the dry eraser. I love that each chalk has its own plastic holder.

I love these. I use them to write on my advertising board for my business. Very easy to write and control.
