Relieves anxiety/ promote bone health/ manage blood sugar/ improved sleep
I’ve been taking these vitamin supplements for a few weeks now, and I can definitely feel the difference in my energy levels and overall well-being. The ingredients are high quality, and I love that they don’t upset my stomach like some other brands I’ve tried. The capsules are easy to swallow, and there’s no weird aftertaste. The packaging is secure, and the bottle comes with a good amount for the price. I also appreciate that it’s made with natural ingredients and doesn’t have unnecessary fillers. I’ll definitely be repurchasing!Highly recommend for anyone looking to boost their daily nutrition.

Excellent magnesium
This is an excellent product - and I like that there are 200mg of magnesium per capsule... so I don't have to swallow so many pills. Great company.

Gentle to the metabolism
The main thing about this version is its favourable digestive gastro-intestinal effects. Many of the versions of Magnesium have a laxative effect. This one does not. I do also seem to be sleeping more calmly with this magnesium. (It is taken right before bedtime.)I've heard doctors say the citrate version is typically at a15-20% absorption rate, which is obviously pretty low. On the other side, doctors say the glycinate form of magnesium is one of the most absorbable. Here's a brief statement from a health site on the web: "Magnesium glycinate (magnesium bound with glycine, a non-essential amino acid) is one of the most bioavailable and absorbable forms of magnesium, and also the least likely to induce diarrhea. It is the safest option for correcting a long-term deficiency."I agree with that statement. Even still, finding the right producer is not straightforward. I have bought other brands that did not perform as advertised. I'm very particular about getting the right sources for supplements. I give this brand an A- for reasonable cost and having a non-laxative effect. If this company did a lab analysis and told us exactly what its product's absorption rate was as a percentage and if that percentage were at or beyond the 50% mark, I'd give this product an A+. Experts believe the body only absorbs 50% from supplements in the best-case scenario. It would be good for supplement producers across the spectrum to start telling their customer base how well their specific product can be expected to be absorbed by an average consumer in good health based on reliable lab results. What I do know about this product is that it is gentle on the digestive system and has a calming effect for sleep. How well it's absorbed would be great to know. The average male should get 440-440 mg of magnesium a day, but actually, to be more specific, the consensus is that people should get 6 milligrams per kilogram (2.2 pounds). I weigh 220 pounds (or 100 kilograms) so I should get 600 milligrams of magnesium per day. Each of the capsules for this brand is 200 mg. I take 3 capsules each day (or 600 mg).As mentioned above, I won't get the full 600 milligrams absorbed into my body. I am relying on my diet to make up the difference. This product is well-priced for the amount per capsule. Pay attention to the amount per capsule because it directly determines the bottom-line cost.

Love
I love this brand line I take their vitamins all the time and upon research found that they also sell magnesium glycinate which I recommend all of my clients take with the approval of their medical physicians I now also take this product and have sent it to my grown children to try it as well everybody's products don't always work well even though it might be the same type of substance however these capsules after the use with food do very well on the stomach and absorb quite nicely in your body I feel so much more relaxed taking this product as well as sleeping like a baby and not being so anxious or irritable nor have I experienced any leg cramps great product

Buffered w/ magnesium oxide - causes diarrhea
I’ve been taking magnesium glycinate for 3 years, for severe anxiety. It was recommended by a doctor to try, as I am nervous about medications. It worked well for me, so I continued.I’ve been taking pure encapsulations brand since the beginning, but Amazon is out of stock, so I decided to try this brand, feeling good about the added veggie components and that each capsule has 200mg, as opposed to most other brands that have 100-120mg. I thought it was odd that this one was 200mg, but only now after researching, do I understand why... more on that in a minute.I had a few of my old capsules left, so I decided to work my way into the new ones and added them in first one, then two per day. Suddenly two days ago (1 day into taking it), about an hour after taking one, I suddenly got stomach cramps and had to run to the bathroom with diarrhea. I honestly thought it was what I ate. I’ve continued having loose stools for the last two days, with an uncomfortable feeling in my bowels. I thought it was something I ate, or my anxiety.Yesterday and this morning, I could feel my anxiety roaring back and wondered if this supplement might not be as effective as pure encapsulations, perhaps not as “pure”.I went to look at the Amazon reviews and under the 1 star are quite a few people talking about diarrhea! It suddenly dawned on me that bathroom troubles probably have nothing to do with what I ate, it’s the darn supplement!THEN I started scouring every word of the Amazon listing when I saw it says, at the bottom of the listing under ingredients, BUFFERED magnesium glycinate. What does that mean? (It doesn’t say that on the bottle, but supplements aren’t regulated and they can really say whatever they want in the label.)After googling BUFFERED, there it is... it’s mixed with magnesium OXIDE! That causes diarrhea, will cause the mg per capsule to be higher (200mg vs 120mg), and magnesium oxide is barely absorbable by the body. It all gets pooped out via diarrhea. No wonder my anxiety is roaring back and I’m running to the bathroom.I do not recommend this product.
